Well, some fool entered me in a Moc-Off against Ian. Here's to not making TOO much of a fool of myself.
About this creation

Well folks, here it is, the newest ship in the UNE fleet. Though not by any means a large vessel, Et's Revenge (more on the name later) is armed to the teeth with the latest weapons technology.
Armor: 20cm Titanium-tungstide alloy
Weapons Systems: Main Cannon: Well, technically there are two there, but they fire as one...
Forward Cannons: 2 powerful coil guns capable of launching depleted uranium shells with explosive warheads at up to Mach 6.
Aft Cannons: They're a lot like the last two, but there's more of 'em.
Shields: Experimental Magnetic Countermeasures.

The port side. On a side note, I'm trying out a new way of taking pictures, yes/no?

The Aft section.

Starboard Side.

Looking down the bow.

Main cannons....

Forward Cannons...

Grav-Missile tubes...

The bridge. See where the name comes from now?

Aft Cannons....

The engine assembly. A little better than This, no?

Sorry 'bout the poor quality of this one.
Well, I think we can safely say my goose is cooked for this one, but it's definitely nothing to be ashamed of.......

not as bulky and formidable as some COP ships, but it certainly is competent.
8/10 price, 6/10 attack, 8/10 defense |
|

"ET's Revenge" xD I'll never get old of that! As for 23CC, 6/10 for cost, 7/10 for attack, and 8/10 for defense! ~See you in Space! |

I love it and all, and I'm giving you another smiley on this, but I'm going to have to go with Ian's on this. Yours just has too high weapon density. |

Okay, this was the closest match up of the three if you ask me. I think you did a pretty good job on the color work, as well as getting some details in there. I feel like the ship is just a little visually busy, though. This is tough to describe, but I think what's doing it, is that there isn't a place on the ship with any large smooth surfaces to compete with the areas where the parts and detail create more texture. After spending some time comparing the two entries, I've decided to go with Ian's destroyer. While you guys are pretty close, I feel like his design and parts usage were just a tad bit more refined. Still, a solid entry, though, so well done!
I figured as much. He DOES have a good two years on me after all. |

Well Moffy the photos are good but as far as lighting is concerned I recommend high intensity cool burning WHITE flourescents. They make a brighter photo.
Sadly enough, they WERE white. |

Really nice. I've never tried mini-scale as my inner 8 year-old still wants to stuff lots of crew into ships, but i keep seeing cool creations like this so i may give it a go. Plus my inner child can then cover it in honking great cannons... |

There's no such thing as a mini scale ship. The biggest ship I know of on MOC pages still doesn't quite cut it. http://mocpages.com/moc.php/683 |

What a nice battleship, I like the use of tires in the engines, they look great! The engine of the Dawn´s Light was also cool, it was just a big one instead of two smaller ones. Oh, why didn´you name it Rudolph? It has a red nose and the guns on top of it look like deer's antlers ;-P . Fits christmas time perfectly! Cheers! |
