About this creation
Shinji's entire life is devoted to his music, and he never wants to stop. He loves his guitar more than everything else in the world. Sleeping, eating. They take second place to The Music.
Without an instrument, Shinji will tap his fingers, click his boots, hum. He is physically incapable of not thinking about music - except when extremely angry. Thankfully, that doesn't ahppen often, and Shinji generally acts in a very good-natured manner.
An expert player, his talent is incomparable to any other Glatorian. His fingers are so nimble, he can play two different songs simultaneously on the same guitar. Coupled with that, he can sing.
In Tajun, Schilden's music shop is a regular haunt of Shinji's, and the two get along extremely well. Oddly, the two have never actually played together officially...
Originally from Tesara, Shinji roams the land in search of gigs in the different villages, and likes meeting others with musical talent for jam sessions. On one such trip, to Vulcanus, Shinji encountered Fenrir. Wisely,he ran.
"Hello, uhh... Iconox!" Begins to play, slowly at first...

Shinji was EXTREMELY fun to make. Inspired slightly by Folagius, the Toa of nature, and Militia Zupharo's little peice of advice here, I modified Militia's design in order to give Shinji waist atriculation, thus allowing him to thrust rockerishly.
Folagius' shield intrigued me, and I was inspired to make an entire costume using leaf peices. They have a habit of pinging off his wrists, but otherwise they're great. I also found a way to add those Vahki Eye Peices without restricting leg movement too much - thus giving him ridiculously flared looking rocker trousers! :D
Despite just being a Gresh helmet, this is actually how I always imagined him to look. Any custom helmets I tried just couldn't compare. hey, sometimes Lego gets it spot on - unlike with Kiina's helmet. What kind of girl has sideburns!?! That said, Mezigus (A future glatorian yet to be posted: Shinji was his agori blocker) uses her helmet for just that reason.
If you're wondering what that blue thing is he's holding, it's supposed to be a guitar pick...
And yes, I realise the top of his guitar is missing. Whoops >.>
((Oh, and Scott? I think we should make our own thread for Shinji's story. What do you think? I could be Schilden :D ))

Wow Gringat, great! I haven't posted much lately, camera issues, that's why my Shinji isn't up yet. And Shinji's story as a thread? That sounds great! I've not done much on BRC lately, can't keep up. :S |

Its cool of you to have combined several interesting designs for this moc like the leaves and the guitar thing. The background looks much better also than the previous background. You are posting quite a number of interesting mocs these days...Congratulations! |

Insanely awsome! I never could pull of a decent Glatorian/Toa using the leaf pieces. Nice use of the Visorak body for the guitar, too! |
