Lego Company Image Mistakes
The investigation of Lego's many mistakes and mishaps in their photos!
About this creation
Throughout the years we've seen many mistakes from the lego company...now it's time to expose them!

Let's start out with the cover of the 2008 Summer Catalog. Here we see three agents right?

Wrong! The two agents to the right and left of agent chase aren't wearing man agent torsos, but women torsos! See it? Let's move on...

Here we see the cover of the set 6240: Kraken Attackin'. See the minfigs on the cover?

Well when we look inside it tells us to build them a different way! Which one is right???

Now we see the cover of the Summer 2009 catalog and we see the alien Frenzy. Nothing wrong with him?

WRONG! He's actually wearing P-Squiddy's shirt/torso...

Once again the Summer 2009 catalog we see the set 5969: Squidman Escape! See anything wrong?

Yep! There's a mess up! P-squiddy is wearing a cape in the picture, but when they show the two minifigs that come with the set, he's not wearing the cape!

January 2009 Catalog, the power miners section. Here we see set 8959: Claw Digger. Don't notice anything?

Look again! The eyes on the rock monsters are missing! Ooops!

And now the Grand Finale!!! 7754-1: Home One Mon Calimari Star Cruiser! I laughed at how many mess ups there are!

For these pictures, it is recommended that you enlarge these as much as possible. (Click on them or open them in a new tab)

Ok, first, we have an image saying, in the right hand upper corner, "Move the “hologram” of the Death Star up and down!" and yet it shows a dude in the command chair. And then on the left bottom hand corner we see it saying, "Turn the knob to turn Admiral Ackbar in his command chair!"

These two should be switched around!

And then this is my favorite! Look at the image (You may want to enlarge!) what do you see in those little pictures that I just mentioned? Yup, it's a Plo Koon head on a clone's body! FAIL!

And finally, in the left hand corner we see Luke Skywalker looking at the death star plans, but...wait a minute...he's not in the set! Ooop!

DISCLAIMER!
This thing does not directly bash on Lego! I am just pointed out some mistakes. I love lego, and worship them on Tuesdays (not really). Thank you.
DISCLAIMER ENDS!

Well, I hope you guys enjoyed these because I did! Look through your lego catalogs and post your own mistakes!

Also I would like to apologize for the bad photos, but until next time...!

~Casey~

On this issue if you look at page 17, (set # 2505 garmodon's fortress)Kai's and Chopov's name are switched.

Hey, on the cover of this year's magazine, is that bone guy supposed to be on one of those Spinjitzu things? And, on page 5, that bone guy with a large head has 4 arms, yet, on the cover and on page 7 that dude only has 2 arms! And, on pages 6 and 7, is the white ninja on the correct Spinjitzu thing? And, notice this: on the LEGO Magazine cover, in that animated Ninjago set, it shows the four ninjas, but, on the pages 6 and 7, it only shows the WHITE ninja and the sensei, and the sensei wasn't on the cover! Plus, on page 8 and 9, it says to look for Evo and Nex on those two pages, yet, they haven't been mentioned until page 12! Do these count?

Thats creepy I made the same mistake as LEGO did in the first picture, only later when I was playing with the giant truck did I notice I put a woman body on a man. P.S. I almost wet myself laughing looking at this(Its even funnier when you actually own the set, I own 3 of them).

Quoting Raze Marine (Sean) This is bogus. They aren't mistakes. On the front of the magazine it says "Can you spot what's wrong in this magazine"
Hahahahaha! First off, it's a CATALOG not a MAGAZINE. And I checked all over the CATALOG and it doesn't say anywhere "Can you spot what's wrong in this magazine". You are thinking of a Lego Club Magazine and this is a CATALOG so you just made a mistake!

You're right! Thanks for the input!

the Home One picture was a prepacking mistake so we can just see the main set. And the first one, I remember seeing it I was like "What?" Some of these are obvious FAILS!

I noticed the Mon Calamari with Luke when I got it, but I never noticed the Plo Koon screw-up. Good job finding these!

Quoting Ethan M. By the way, do you know what happened to Luc the Builder? He just disappeared from MOCpages and I'm wondering why.
Yeah, I know! It's scary. I was going to tell you that he was probably taking a break like that long time period between a moc and his "Art room", but when you click the link on my homepage to his homepage, it says it doesn't exist!

Since this isn't an actual creation I didn't rate it, but some of those are big mistakes! I'd noticed a few, but not all of those! Nice compiling! By the way, do you know what happened to Luc the Builder? He just disappeared from MOCpages and I'm wondering why.

Well, I already noticed in other LEGO catalogs, that there are a lot of mistakes, especially in the translated version (I got one English->Dutch translated catalog). But I've never seen any of these mistakes before... thanks for posting. BTW: TLG shame on you!! Don't you guys ever double check your catalogs??

Um, they are supposed to leave the capes out on the minifig showing. And yeah, they make mistakes on the printing and body! But you really caught me there on the clone body and no-eyes. I didn't notice them! I thought the eyes were higher, and I thought the guy was supposed to have that body! But yes, I noticed Frenzy and the hat mix-up. But I totally didn't even see the mess-up with the agents! When I see a screw-up, i'll take a picture and post it on MOCpages! Bye!

You should see the LEGO Star Wars Visual Dictionary.....screw ups galore in that one! Like the Mini V-Torrent upside down and all kinds of glitches. Don't people edit this stuff??

It's always fun to see these glitches. I work in a print shop and people here make the same mistakes all the time. Just not with LEGO of course. see ya. garth
