Absolutely breathtaking!!!

This is amazing! The only thing I see wrong with it is that Gimli can see over the wall. In the movie Gimli couldn't see and Legolas said: "Shall I describe it to you, or would you like a box?" Or something like that. Maybe that's just the size of the short Minifigs. Other than that, It's great! 5/5!

Thank you very much for the compliment. Mine appears to be larger for sure with far more minifigs. With over a hundred minifigs, I can't even imagine how much Lego would charge for mine....

I'll be honest, this is far more better than the set Lego will be releasing in 2012.

I guess I might consider selling it, but the price would be pretty high for three reasons. First there is a huge amount of Lego in this set, tens of thousands of pieces, so the cost to build it was high. Secondly it took a vast amount of time to build it, rebuild it and rebuild it again to complete it. Lastly I have to admit I am quite attached to it. But for the right price, anything is possible.

Helm's Deep looks really great, would you ever consider selling it?

Cool MOC! This was a great scene in the trilogy. You might want to add the 'Dwarf tossing' part of the battle. Nice work!

Helms Deep is everytime great! looks cool, can you maybe add some more detailed photos and the entire battle from beginning to ending.

Thank you. There are many details (like the interior and the Glittering Caves) that I haven't shown yet. I hope to add some pics of that soon. I also plan to add a pic or two of my custom worgs. They are the wolf-like creatures ridden by orcs at the bottom right of the shot.

Thank you, I may look into doing that. I also have a diorama of Minas Tirith (from The Lord of the Rings: Return of the King) that I hope to photograph soon. Its about the same size, but has more minifigs.

dude this is a great diorama. i think you would be able to make a great moc of the actual battle from start to finish and i think it would be interesting to see.
