The Rebel Assault Frigate was one of the more powerful assets of the Rebel Alliance during the Galactic Civil War. It was in short supply due to the amount of work necessary to convert a Dreadnaught to an Assault Frigate.

About this creation

This is another of my fleet of capital ships. It is built to my scale of 100 meters=4 studs.

This side view shows how the superstructure of a Old Republic era Dreadnought has been removed by rebel technicians to lighten the vessel.

The modifications allowed for a faster and more powerful ship, but one of the most important improvements was the reduction in the number of crew members needed.

My Rebel Fleet, with Mon Cal MC40 and MC80 Cruisers, Rebel Assault Frigate, Nebulon B Frigate, Correllian Corvette and the famous Millenium Falcon.

Nice, this is another of my favourite SW EU ships and I hope to make one myself soon. Two questions though... Is it the same lengh as your Dreadnought; and do you plan on making the alternate version of tthe mark 1 Assault Frigate? not the mark two.

Thank you. I tried to come up with a scale that would allow sufficient detail and also allow me to keep all the ships (minimizing cost of construction). I have another new, fairly complex MOC coming in the next few weeks, if you are interested in stopping back for a look.
