My second microscale spaceship and the flagship of U.M.T.D. 1st Space Fleet, The Challenger is my first real SHIP (Seriously Huge Investment of Parts).

About this creation

The Challenger is the flagship of U.M.T.D. 1st Space Fleet, serving as a mobile headquarters and the symbol of U.M.T.D. spacepower!!! ;)

The Challenger boasts some of the deadliest weapons ever fitted to a U.M.T.D. spaceship. It is armed with 3 turbolaser turrets, 2 laser cannon turrets, and 4 concussion missile launchers, plus 15 feet of titanium alloy armor plating.

I really liked the engines, even though they're quite simple.

I put a cluster of antennas on the front.

Wow, not bad! Very nice design. I particularly like the tapering just past the mid-section, and then how it goes a bit blocky in the aft portion...just kind of a unique look there. This is one (due mainly to it's size) where I'd really have loved to see it studless. The studs I'm seeing in the pic tend to interfere with the GREAT job you did with the rest of the greeb work and the overall sense of texture with the ship. All in all, though, a VERY nice job. Well done!

wow very impressive ship, altough you should make it your frigate so you can built later on even more bigger ships for your fleet. you know what im going to make my own ministarship for the Nihilith.
