A space pirate remix.
About this creation

The Von Baron family have been synonymous with villainy for centuries and the current generation is no exception.
The Baron Otto Von Blacktron as a well known galactic scoundrel, infamous for smuggling, thievery abduction and cold-blooded murder. He leaves large-scale plunder to more ‘coarse’ buccaneers, seeing himself as a gentleman rogue. Like his 20th century ancestor before him he is very fond of tomb-robbing, liberating artefacts from less-developed planets and warzones and poaching rare species from distant worlds.
Keeping up the family traditions he sports a digital monocle, laser-burn duelling scar and prosthetic left hand. At various times he has also gone by the names ‘Lord Sinister’ and ‘Mr. Hates’ to keep the space police off his tail.
His pilot/ minion is a clone known only as Slyboots. It is believed that his gene-pattern has been passed on from Baron to Baron. This model has been tweaked to breathe carbon dioxide and exhale oxygen, which allows the callous Baron to use him as a personal air scrubber in an emergency.
Slyboots pilots and maintains the Baron’s personal biplane class craft. Based on an archaic design it has limited cargo space and weaponry but extraordinary range, speed and resilience. The two-seater is driven by a localised gravity-whimsey propeller and has hidden blaster arrays and a ‘Nefarious’ class energy cannon for defence.
The Baron rarely engages in ship-to-ship combat, preferring to run away and stab you in the back another day.

4th Wall: An entry for a space pirate remix challenge on Flickr. The task was to take any previous Lego theme and ‘Space Piratify’ it. Yes, we made up ‘Piratify’. I chose adventurers because I like the villains and nobody else had.
My home computer is dying a slow and painful death, so I’ve managed to upload a few photos from work just in time for the deadline. Wish me luck!

Yieee-haaa! This biplane really rocks! Very original both in terms of style and colouring - bold! Brilliant use of that Skrall skull, I have tried (but not managed) to incorporate it in a MOC. And congrats to your new job, cheers!

Wow, great Moc! I especially like the combination of technic and system parts. The color scheme is eye-catching, and the idea of combining old aviation with new is quite cool. Merry Christmas!

The color combination is strangely appealing, and I really like the concept behind this. A space biplane sounds ridiculous -- which is exactly why I like it. Great part usage here and I love the pofile/shape of the ship. It has that retro-awesome feel of something straight out of '50s sci-fi.

Very nice. The mix of the Baron and space is quite a nice idea for your contest you're in. The figures/pilots are perfect for the creation. A good build from you once again. ~ Ghostman

Quoting Chris Phipson "This model has been tweaked to breathe carbon dioxide and exhale oxygen, which allows the callous Baron to use him as a personal air scrubber in an emergency." So wait... he makes out with the clone in an emergency? We've had this debate before... does that make him fruity or is it just self gratification? Wow, that question was VERY hard to get around moderation. HAHAHA Love the retro feel to the build! Keep em coming! ~ Chris.
Ha, I was waiting for somebody to ask about that. I figure a 25th Century villain can be pretty fruity, but he wouldn't HAVE to make out with him, just be very, very close.....
