Details of my Coffee Assistant

Do you want sugar in your coffee?
Just put your cup into the Coffee Asisstant, and clap your hands.
The Coffee Assistant will put sugar in your cup. Afterwards it starts to stir your coffee.

The Coffee Asisstant has an unique design. It has niches at the sides. In these niches you can find minifigures drinking coffee.

A special door is used to watch the technology inside. This door contains transparent bricks filled with sugar and coffee powder.

Technical details

This Coffee Asisstant is fitted with a sound sensor, which notices the sounds of clapping hands.

A conveyor belt transports the sugar limbs to the coffee cup.

A spoon comes down and starts to stir your coffee.

The spoon is driven by a motor via a gear set.

Enjoy your coffee!

Kind regards,
Anika Vuurzoon.

Very good, it acturely works to! I also like the details on the outside. In the old days (the '80s and early '90s) we didn't have that kind of engines! I can't beleve it's acturely sound activated! Keep on building!

Quoting Matthew Mahan SERIOUSLY?? Are you guys robotics engineers or something? this is amazing! I love all the details like the people on the side and the napkin holder, but what is truly magnificent is the internal workings. I mean that belt and the magazine that load the sugar cubes are cool enough, and I don't even know how you got the spoon to rotate like that, and raise and lower. Absolutely incredible. I think this might become my favorite LEGO creation of all time, for real.
Hi, Thank you for your comment! I'm not a robotics engineer, i'm just a highschool girl. For the spoon I grabed one from my mother, and drilled two holes in it. In this holes I put technical axles. But don't tell my mother, I had spoil her cutlery :). Bye bye Hupie Vuurzoon

Brilliant Hupie! I particularly like the work you put in the video, with the paper heading, the major city scenery with suitable sounds, and the device itself with the belt and supply tower. Pretty much a complete performance! I am curious what next you'll dream up, wondering if you can top this... Warm regards
