A third-generation Armored Patrol Unit (APU, not from the "Matrix" movie) the Lynx is a huge step up from its predecessors, but still failed to live up to fleet standards. It was replaced quickly by a better and larger mech, and all the -22s were relegated to secondary roles. However, the Death Guard saw the -22 as the apex of their "Strike-hard-and-run" philosophy and requested as many as possible for their armored core. Happy to oblige, the High Command issued over 3,000 to the DG which were immediately repainted and specialized to scores of roles from "Mech snipers" to flamethrowers. They were perfect, hard to hit by tanks because they are too fast, and tough enough to stand up against heavy small arms fire.
About this creation
Small and agile, the APU-22 is ideal for squad support.
Specifications:
Main armament: 2x 11mm machine guns.
Secondary armament: 1x 20mm railgun; 4x high-velocity rocket-propelled grenades.
Traverse: 360 degrees.
Max velocity: 50 kph.
Max/min armor thickness: 20mm/5mm
Crew: 1x human, no accomodations
This is my first experiment with an ammo chain design.
To cut down on computer equipment, the Lynx is equipped with an advanced laser-sighting technology. More or less a point-and-shoot interface.

its mind wrnechingly awesome. aghhh... dont look directly at it, the light radiating from it that was sent by either angels or Chuck Norris will blind you.
Thats a praise, in case you were wondering.
I'm sure Chuck would be honored... lol |

this is neat! The lynx's armament far outmatched my own 'Grey Templar' Hardsuit's twin chaingunz, but I doubt it would be much use against the small, fast, and very agile Grey Templar.
It would just kick it, that's why it has feet... |
