About this creation
On the island-city of Ghetta-Nui, industry has ravaged the rescources to a point where poverty and petty crime is commonplace. Gang wars have separated the city, and all the gangs are constantly fighting over Ghetta-Nui's dwindling rescources. Seeing their misfortune, the Great Spirit sent five toa to protect the matoran of Ghetta-Nui... from themselves.
Holuak, Toa of Ash. The leader of the group, Holuak is a reckless fighter who would rather take down his opponent than keep himself alive. He sports a flamethrower and the Mask of Suffocation, which allows Holuak to fill his enemies' lungs with toxic smoke.
Mahilu, Toa of Stealth. Often mistaken for a Makuta due to his foreboding appearance, Mahilu is really one of the more compassionate Toa of the group. He is equipped with a high-powered sniper rifle and the Mask of Phasing, which allows him to evade his foes by walking through solid objects. This power also allows bullets and other harmful things to pass completely through Mahilu without damaging him. The only down side to his power is that he can't counterattack his foes until he solidifies again, which renders him vulnerable.
Heckily, Toa of Thunda. The boisterous one of the group, Heckily often speaks (or yells) before he thinks. Heckily has an assault rifle and the Mask of Sound, which allows him to create sonicbooms which disorient an enemy or even send them flying.
Kahah, Toa of Dust. Don't let his small guns fool you, he knows how to use them! Kahah is deadly accurate with his dual pistols, and his mask, the Mask of Age, allows him to slow down or speed up time at will. When Kahah uses his mask power, an observer would see him move either extremely fast or extremely slow.
And finally, Anaka, Toa of Glass. Anaka is a savage warrior and a loyal ally. His powerful minigun can tear through armor like a bb gun through paper, and if that isnt enough, he is the owner of the Mask of Reflection, which sends bullets, energy, and even other Toa powers directed at him speeding right back to the assailant, giving them a taste of their own medicine.
This is my first Toa team, and I really like the way they turned out. All their names are based off of Hawaiian words in accordance with the island-style names of many other Bionicle characters. Not many people make guns for their Toa, and it's kind of disappointing. If you like what you see here, I encourage you to make similarly armed Toa and to let me know when they are posted so I can check them out. They're really fun! good toa team. One thing you could improve on is the belt of the mini gun. You might want to turn it so it looks like one of the matoran arms. |
