This page contains several ideas (some borrowed, some new) for a range of minifig scale cockpits.

As a kid, I found that many of my MOCs started from the minifig out - I'd build as many instrument displays, joysticks and levers around a minifig chair and then build some type of craft around it. I'd even employ a few SNOT* techniques, long before I even knew what SNOT was (all hail the mighty headlight brick! =)

So here are a couple of ideas I've spotted on Brickshelf and a couple of my own. I'll be adding more to this page so if you're stuck for inspiration, bookmark this and check back. I'll try an update as often as I can - if I don't, slap me with an email and I might get busy. ;)
