Santa's North Pole Work Shop for Charity!
About this creation
ALL PROCEEDS GO DIRECTLY TO CHARITY!

Not too long ago, Nannan Z. asked a number of us if we would be interested in building a moc to be auctioned off for charity… Here’s my contribution to a great cause, Santa’s North Pole Work Shop!

Here’s the moc showing the three different component parts. When it’s shipped, this is what it will look like when you… yes YOU take it out of the box!

Another shot of the component pieces. This one showing that those trees and the pole aren’t just set on there. That’s right people, Chris ACTUALLY put some thought into this one. I know… I’m just as worried about that as you are.

So RUN, don’t walk over to Bricklink and check out all the great stuff that’s available from some of your favorite builders! (Taun Taun not included)

Fourth Wall Commentary: Not much to say here. Nannan Z. asked us if we would be interested in building a moc to be auctioned off for charity. It took me all of about 4 seconds to realize that this was a great cause and I’d be honored to be a part of it! I just had NO idea what to build… Then it hit me! (ouch) This is for a charity around Christmas time… what says Christmas more that Santa’s work shop at the North Pole (aside from Naughty Mrs. Clause lingerie of course)? I didn’t want to make it TOO big being as this would most likely be kids (with their parent’s permission of course) bidding on it, so I went for a small workshop. The most parts got eaten up with the SNOT snow. Hope you enjoyed checking out the build and feel free to head over to Bricklink to bid on not only this, but ALL the other great builds! And remember, it’s for charity!

I’ll be tracking down the exact link as soon as I can and posting it here. In the meantime… bricklink.com!

Oh wow! I can't wait 'til Christmas! I had a look at the items on bricklink and was pleasantly surprised at how much they were going for. I would like to donate one at some point... Is Nannan running it indefinately, or how long for...? I'll go look that one up myself. Hope you raise lots of money with this!!! Oh and happy birthday for last Saturday!

Aww mannnn.... that is soo awesome! Hey is this for Yuri's contest too? Oh... and I am actually considering buying this, just cause you touched the bricks. Ooooh... imagine it! Bricks touched by CHRIS PHIPSON! But a taun taun touched by you would be better... and when I say touched, I don't mean that I want a violated taun taun.

Not gonna happen, not gonna happen, not gonna happen, not gonna happen, not gonna happen, not gonna happen, not gonna happen, not gonna happen... and yes you were... but it made me laugh.
Quoting Shannon Ocean I dunno about this snot; without the tiles on top it's not really a Phipson ;) Nice to see you giving back to the community after taking so so much...no wait, that's Shaddix...
HAHAHA! Don't worry, I'll be back to my tiling ways in no time... and LOL at the Shaddix comment!
Quoting Lee Jones Alright pansies - who out there has the stones to go head to head with me on this one. Heather - I am going to take you down to the mat, and caress your hair, and.... Oops, sorry, lost my train of thought. Lee.
Train... lego... Heather... IHOP? Drove by that IHOP on my way to work today and thought fondly of the new club being formed... we'll all discuss details later.

Quoting Dave Shaddix I love that you are moving away from the tiles into the magical land of SNOT.
I'll second that. The seams between a bunch of white tiles would have been too prominent. Good choice using SNOTed bricks to better convey the smoothness of a blanket of snow.
