Well Patrick thank you very much for your splendid comment and to begin, there are only a few construction images on another site.. This Battlestar was my first completed attempt and there were few photos of it as it took quite some time to build. Also the camera was not as reliable even back then. The build itself was old school in construction and I probably used more on reinforcing than the outer hull greebling. Below is my other display site for Lego. Garry, awesome! Well, let me ask an obvious question: Can you please put some pictures online, showing some stages of constructing the battlestar? And friend of mine and me, we'd like to build two battlestars.....Mine will stand right next to the Death Star, taking a detour on his way to Kobol :-) In case, you don't have pictures, maybe you can describe constructing of the battlestar a little bit, so my friend and I have it a little bit easier, in our winter-project? Just one word - impressive! Best original series Galactica, I“ve ever seen. The studs work well to create that bulk look of the original one. Studless would have looked too clean, imo. ~Cheers, Marc

Sounds like you might want to rig up one of those hoists for lifting car engines on your ceiling!

Wow! The detail on the Galactica you made is simply astounding! I have to state that there were some things that I didn't like about the series, but the ships weren't included. I liked that huge carrier a lot, and the other ships were equally as interesting. Your Moc IS the Galactica. I'll definitely view the others when you post them.

Garry, looks great! You used a lot of details. Mine will be a bit smaller, about 135 cm. You succeeded very good in catching the typical battlestar shape. Congratulations!

Oh my God! This thing is out there, totally awesome. The detail is mind boggling, your style is classic LEGO to the letter. This is jsut how they liked to model things in the 70's, very fitting for a Gallactica bird. I love this build, if it doesn't win MOC of the day, then the judges are in need of guidance. This is what a Battlestar should look like! Whether its made out of LEGO or not ...you nailed it, the level of detail you achieved here is amazing. This was an era when Cylons were chrome or had light-up heads, Dirk Benedict was Starbuck and Col. Tigh was still black. Great work! ~dave

Absolutely incredible creation you have built. You nailed the Galactica perfectly. Amazing the amount of time and effort you must have put into this.

Very nice! You did a beautiful job on the proportions and form of the ship. My only nit would be the surface texture seems a bit rough (but then I'm one of THOSE builders who likes to work studless for the most part...so what would I know!) This is one of my favorite ships from any sci-fi series, and you really did it justice. Well done!
