Beautiful model - most accurate depiction I've seen! One question - how do you get the pictures with the backgrounds?
Thank you Brian for commenting. I get the images of the model and edit out the background and then add that to spacey pictures for the best results. Thank you for asking. |

Garry, awesome!
Well, let me ask an obvious question: Can you please put some pictures online, showing some stages of constructing the battlestar? And friend of mine and me, we'd like to build two battlestars.....Mine will stand right next to the Death Star, taking a detour on his way to Kobol :-)
In case, you don't have pictures, maybe you can describe constructing of the battlestar a little bit, so my friend and I have it a little bit easier, in our winter-project?
Thanks in andvance an kind regards,
Patrick.
Well Patrick thank you very much for your splendid comment and to begin, there are only a few construction images on another site.. This Battlestar was my first completed attempt and there were few photos of it as it took quite some time to build. Also the camera was not as reliable even back then.
The build itself was old school in construction and I probably used more on reinforcing than the outer hull greebling. Below is my other display site for Lego.
I hope will assist you in your major project and I look forward seeing another massive Battlewagon.....

Stunning! I just have a look at your older mocs, and found out, that your work is as magnificant as your latest models. Well I think you still have improved a lot over time, your actual style is really elegant; but again: this Battlestar is also an frank goodlooking beast!
Thank you Stephan for your comment. Glad you liked it and appreciate the work and effort that has gone into developing and improving one's skills. I look at your skills and totally amazed by them. |

Just one word - impressive! Best original series Galactica, Iv'e ever seen. The studs work well to create that bulk look of the original one. Studless would have looked too clean, imo. ~Cheers, Marc
Thank you Marc. Your comment is most appreciated. It sadly has been dismantled too big for transport and no where to put it.
Keep up your fantastic work as it is just as IMPRESSIVE.... CHEERS GARRY

Sweet build! the detail is awesome, but i reckon you should build the re-imagined Galactica and Pegasus. that would just own.
love your basestar as well btw :)
THANK YOU COMMANDER ECHO
You must have read my mind The reimaged Galactica is on my final list of creations and expecting all going well massive and I will have to make a steel frame to support it and 2 people to carry it. It will dwarf the current Galactica but there are plenty of ships in the fleet before I get to that one ..Thank you for your input and thank you for looking |

Wow! The detail on the Galactica you made is simply astounding! I have to state that there were some things that I didn't like about the series, but the ships weren't included. I liked that huge carrier a lot, and the other ships were equally as interesting. Your Moc IS the Galactica. I'll definitely view the others when you post them. |

Oh my God! This thing is out there, totally awesome. The detail is mind boggling, your style is classic LEGO to the letter. This is jsut how they liked to model things in the 70's, very fitting for a Gallactica bird. I love this build, if it doesn't win MOC of the day, then the judges are in need of guidance. Great build dude... |

This is what a Battlestar should look like! Whether its made out of LEGO or not ...you nailed it, the level of detail you achieved here is amazing. This was an era when Cylons were chrome or had light-up heads, Dirk Benedict was Starbuck and Col. Tigh was still black. Great work! ~dave |

Very nice! You did a beautiful job on the proportions and form of the ship. My only nit would be the surface texture seems a bit rough (but then I'm one of THOSE builders who likes to work studless for the most part...so what would I know!) This is one of my favorite ships from any sci-fi series, and you really did it justice. Well done! |
