An old bird used only by escort carriers of the Oceanian Navy, as they're smaller capacities cannot handle the larger AR-13as.
view of the front, nose and cockpit.
The rear, with the tails and engines. I'm not to pleased with the engines. I went through about 4 renditions trying to make them look great. But every design I did was either too weird or too bulky. So I settled with something simple.
One wing of the plane.
The entire underside of the plane. including details like landing gear, front and rear mounted guns, missiles, and the bomb bay.
the underside of one wing, with four missiles. each wing has four, so eight in total.
the bomb bay closed.
the bomb bay open, with my four bombs. thanks to a vertical conveyor system, this plane can carry 12 bombs, while only dropping four at a time. when a set is dropped, the doors close, and the vertical conveyors bring another four down from above the bay, into the bay.
Very nice, Thomas! I like the particular and outstanding shape of the wing, converging with the fuselage. Indeed gives it a touch of a one-wing-design/wing-only-design. The curves look really good, too. It somehow reminds me of jet trainers just because of its size, but a very advanced, heavily armed one! Thanks for the very nice comment on my C-2, BTW! Best regards, Steffen
