My favorite landscape of Metroid Prime.
About this creation
A scan terminal resides in this room, but I forget what it does.

A nice shot of the floating jet-powered platforms. Unused for decades, the platform is encased in sheets of rock and ice.

This river runs through the center of the room.

An above shot of the entire shoreline.

Detailing underneath the river.

I love Phendrana. Although I only love the gravity suit and spider ball, it's the scenery that blows me away! Wave beam is okay, but constantly switching from wave to ice in the phazon mines was a bother. Then thermal visor was so hard to see! GRRRR! >:( But I love the place. (does anyone else consider gliders cute)

Wow! I love how you made the water. One of my favorite parts of this MOC is actually the base it was built on. Great job!

X-L-Ent. I love Metriod, I hated the limited ammo thing in the second Prime though. Sorry, I got sidetracked. Maybe you could add some Baby Sheegoth? It is a tad small but still looks great.

You win. The (Intentionall, I presume) use of the mixed grays works out in your favor to show the rock face, and the curve in the ice is just brilliant.

Quoting Ze Turkey To answer the question about the sheegoth, I suggest a bionicle mask for the shell. Nokama's first generation mask would probably work best.
All I have is Tahu. Not so effective.

How the heck could you make one that small? It's so organic and curvy...

Quoting tylers republic armourment services love the stream, the weapon uprade you get by fighting the snow creature is kinda lame till later on, great project
What? The wave beam was my favorite! It was lock-on, and it looked really cool when you fired it!

Looks Just like the real thing! Oh and the scan terminal opens the door above it. That's how you go to get the boost ball, then you go and get the space jump boots, then you come back and jump on the platform to go and get the wave beam. Man i love metroid!

Whoah, nice. You've captured the feel very, very well, and like NWM, I've been dying to build this area myself. I really like the inclusion of underwater details, and also that it seems to be built mostly sideways. If I had to nitpick, I'd say that the photography seems to detract from the presentation, mostly by making the gray mixing (which I know from experience actually looks very nice in reality) much more obvious. If Nowhereman hasn't already done so, I'll invite you to our group of Metroid fanatics. ...Oh, and the scan terminal unlocks the doors right above it that ultimately lead to the Chozo temple and the Wave beam room, I think...

Quoting Areetsa C Well, that cliff on the way to Agon was quite impressive. Not quite as much as the Chozo ruins from the first game, but that's a pretty hard area to beat. I myself think they did a very good job on that part of the game.
I would have liked the Echoes game much more if it had more dynamic scenery, and if the atmosphere for Dark Aether wasn't all the same (and didn't damage you!).

Quoting Nowhere man I've wanted to do one of these so badly it's not even funny. Although I would've liked it to be bigger, you did a fantastic job. I'd have to say that my favorite part is the detailing under the water. Which is funny because that's what one of my favorite things about metroid prime is as well. All the little tiny details that noone pays attention to but that just bring it all together so well. Great job. Keep on building ~ Nowhereman
I have to deal with limited parts; I would have liked it bigger, too.

Quoting L C Very detailing! PS: Ever tried to make one for MP2E?
Echoes never really had any striking landscapes, in my opinion. I've thought about attempting a Magmoor Caverns landscape, but i don't know if any others appeal to me.

You know, I was just commenting on this when my computer died. Anyway, as I was saying: apart from the compression of objects, this is an excellent (and the only) rendition of that area of the game.
