The Spanish Imperial Galleon Nuestra Senora de la Concepcion is a joint creation by Bonaparte (Belgium) and Captain Green Hair (The Netherlands)
About this creation
Constructed partly in the world famous Amsterdam shipyards of Captain Green Hair and partly in the shipyards of Bonaparte near Antwerp, we are proud to present this international project. We started planning the ship beginning of 2009 at which time we begun buying bricks. As we've used a lot of rare colors it took a bit of time and a many Bricklink orders. All sails and flags are made out of real canvas (no paper) and many meters of rope were consumed for the rigging.
WOnderful use of the LEGO hull parts. I see you used the bow part on both your stern and bow. Good call on that one. Of course great work on the upper hull I really like the sloping effect.
I like it

I saw the thumbnail and my jaw dropped. Very excellent work here. Very long name too... The galleon is probably one of my favorite wooden ships, and this an excellent representation of one, except in plastic!
Thanks for all the nice comments!
@Petr Stuchly: All 3 ship are still existing as it takes roughly one year to finish a one these. We have some vague plans to one day use them in a naval display at LEGO World.
out of this world! do you have all the three ships or did you have to dismantle one to make the other(s)?
this ship is absolutely amazing! the most i love how all three ships use the deck modules but each one is different, and as this one is all "bare wood" and the way you played with rounding up the sides, it is not instantly visible that it uses them on the first sight, and i really love what you did with the front, very impressive job! wonderful sail ship!
to fully reveal it, i'm jealous of both, your brick load and skills... (in a good way)
keep up the great work!
Boats are vehicles :/ Anyways this moc is so... so... good! Is there interior? That's what I live for: interior inside mocs. For some odd reason I like to build houses and stuff, because of the inside-playability.
this is by far, THEE best ship I have seen posted her eon MOCpages. The custom rigging really send this up over the top. And the size, which does matter, for that matter, DOES make a difference. Super job!
I didn't think you could top your first ship, but this ship is amazing and yes, better than the Prince of Whales. Can't wait for the next one. I also spy a lego pig, o and great job on the sails and the rigging
I am impressed!
Just excellent work!
What do I like about it?
She has nice lines!
Your great use of color!
That she has a spritmast! with a sprit-topsail!!
(I do wish that the spritsail was set though!)
Keep-up the great work!
