About this creation
This MOC is rated PG... I'm SO sorry. I'll be back to my normal self for the next post.
I present to you, the H.S.C.C.B. Malcontent! (if you were meant to get that joke, you already did.)

This massive cruiser is the sleekest thing to roll out of Pimm industries since the BFC Deep Space probe.

Designed as a fire support ship, this baby boasts some of the most impressive weaponry this side of LIU space.

Although the engine area may not look like it provides enough thrust, with the lack of friction, it’s no problem to get in and out and in and out of any crevice in any quadrant of the galaxy.

This baby is sexy from any angle… but I really like this one.

Measuring at over 1.5 Kilometers long (that’s just shy of 100 studs) and weighing in at a staggering 4 and a half metric Kescenovitzs, it’s one of the largest ships to be produced… until Pimm industries reveals its massive pillar that is. (Hey, I’m the ONLY person on these pages that has actually carried Brian on my back… I’m allowed to make that joke)

The bridge, where the top brass can sit back, sip sherry, and laugh at the poor souls that they are sending to meet their makers.

The H.S.C.C.B. Malcontent! Buy one today and your war is as good as won! (Actual victory not guaranteed. See complete purchase agreement for terms and conditions. Some wars may not qualify for all offers. Visit your local dealer for details.)

Fourth Wall Commentary:
With Kelso working on his Eye of Chaos, and Lee gently manipulating his Pillar of Autumn, I thought I’d start stretching my SHIP building muscles to help add to the shipyard at Brickworld next year. This ship won’t be at Brickworld, this was just something to get my creative juices flowing. I got the inspiration for this ship after seeing some concept art for a ship called the Malevolence from the clone wars series. I only took the basic idea and then made the rest my own design.
On a completly seperate note... Just in case anyone is interested, I updated my Brickcave a bit. If you’d like to see the update, being as I’m not going to waste an entire post for it, feel free to check out the new pics at the bottom of this page.
That’s all for now folks. Till next time true believers!
~Chris.

i like it, even though a little more greebles would elevate it a little more, it does nt really 'miss' them, i admit rotating guns would have added some 'spice'to it, great ship!

Excellent model !
I've got to say though, looking at the side view the first thought I had was 'this looks like a submarine in a giant roller blade'.
Lol that's not meant in a bad way, it is very good model ! |

Oh yes I forgot to mention.Wouldn't the vessel need a rotating gun? From all I see, The guns are all pointed front. That baby will just crumble into pieces if other ships come from the back.(When they hit the engine, KA-BOOM) |

And now that I've gotten THAT out of the way...While others have suggested some additional greeb work (and I don't entirely disagree), I have to say I can easily see a military vessel having this "plated" look to it, where very few hoses, pipes, windows, etc. are exposed. So with that in mind, I think I like this look (it's something I'm considering with my own Eye of Chaos build right now). As for the general form or disign...absolutely LOVE it. All in all, nice flexing there, Chris! |

'Lack of friction - in and out of any crevice', etc. You just can't help yourself can you? Still, thinly veiled innuendo aside, it's a nice build and you're right - that shot is sexy. Good stuff. |

I finally had some time to sit down and really look at this one and overall I really like it. There is something about the shape that just looks cool. The upper portion reminds me of a German U-Boat and this gives it a nice sleek look. You and I have talked about this already, but I'll say it here too. I'd love to see some more greebling on the sides to add depth/dimension. Aside from that, it's really nice work. Great job Chris! |

Not one of my favorites of yours. This looks like a small, if somewhat disconnected, part of a larger microscale cruiser. I don't really know what it is about this one, but it just seems to be missing something that your creations normally have... Sorry to say it, but this one just doesn't do it for me. |

For those that new him, Dave was a man of few (nice) words. We all joked that saying something nice might actually kill him, and to our detriment, and that of all mocpages, it did. (Dave: I'm not dead yet... call 911!) It's too bad that nothing could be done. He simply fell dead on the floor and no one could help him (Dave: "HELP... ME!") Never again will we be graced with his constructive criticism and advice on how to be as good as he obviously is. We are not worthy to have his comments grace our posts and he will be (Dave: "Please GOD call an ambulance!") *Kicks the body* sorely missed. Rip my friend. ~ Chris.

It almost looks like one of those Space Marine rifles in that one game.... It does look fantastic though!! After makin' that last ship I'm thinking of how to make a ship in modules. Like many official sets are made. Build the parts and use technic pins to attach them to each other.
That's the technique I used for the Virgo ship (the white ont) that I took to brickworld. It was built in four different sections and connected with tech pins. Fun way to work.

Interesting shape, I agree. I'm wondering about the lowest layer where those huge sloped bricks are, seems like it should be fuller. Maybe it's just me but I like a nice full bottom of a ship. I do like that low shot of the back of ship. The shape makes me think cool ray gun. Zappppp! Eight beams for your protection, ma'm. After makin' that last ship I'm thinking of how to make a ship in modules. Like many official sets are made. Build the parts and use technic pins to attach them to each other. Be curious to see what you try next. Put more guns and antennas on there too. see ya. garth |

I'm a bit of an ignaramous regarding clone wars, but (depending on how loosely or not this is based on the concept art you mentioned) it looks like it could be a forerunner to the Nebulon-B Frigate which featured in the original trilogy, a bit? Great ship! |

I'm in the middle of a rather complex build, so I'm a bit confused and don't see the joke in this one ? except the rather ph-allic shape obviously ;-) So on the serious side, this is an excellent build ! I love the bridge and the side turrets the most. On the third pic, it looks like it would be cool with big wheels attached to the lower part of the hull. For some reasons, I think there's a kind of ShannO influence on some section but maybe it's just me lol Sexy work Chris !
