My Own Creation Interactive Adventure one, part six, starring Sig-Nicky V3 in a decidedly sticky situation.
About this creation
"Minesweeper, Youretheperson-luckybanner.exe, Solitaire, -ooh, I'm gonna have to write that site down- Autotarget.exe not responding, Slfdstrct.exe Y/N, Impact detected, activate Ehach.exe Y/N, Hot Free Wallpapers Free Click Now 4 Hot Gorls; huh, you'd think they'd use a spellchecker once in a while. Oh, look at this one: #1 Free Online Multiplayer Space Superkilldeath Chainsawer 3000, right next to the banner for #1 Free Massively Multiplayer Online Game AdventureJourney 2, complete with an annoying animated ad."

So, do you:
A: Try the first hatch again?
B: Select 'Y' for Slfdstrct.exe?
C: Pull out one of the shells for a closer inspection?
D: Activate Ehach.exe?
E: Use the steering wheel and cord to wrench open a nearby power line cover?
F: Tie the cord around your neck for easier access?
Deadlines: you have until the 10th of November to vote on how he kills himself escapes.

D Obviously D!
It's actually up to part 7 by now, but D was the one selected (by a tie; three options, interwebs virtual dice decided) |

Dam! I'm 3 days too late! I'll make my choice on the next one though.
And so am I! I forgot all about this, with me new project and all. Hang on: A: Try the first hatch again. 0. B: Select 'Y' for Slfdstrct.exe. 2. C: Pull out one of the shells for a closer inspection. 3. D: Activate Ehach.exe. 3. E: Use the steering wheel and cord to wrench open a nearby power line cover. 2. F: Tie the cord around your neck for easier access. 3. Right, three-way tie between C, D and F. Physically impossible three-sided virtual dice go! C=1, D=2, F=3. Result: 2. Well, here we go... |

When I first read the options for this part, I wanted to go with D (activate ehach.exe), because it might stand for emergency or exit hatch. But this is too obvious..! So I choose C: "Pull out one of the shells for a closer inspection". The shell-option has been available since pt.1 and it might start a series of (positive?) events.
Are you the first to do this MOCIA?? It is an awesome idea/concept and I can't wait to see what comes next.
Yeah, the concept is mine. There's already a path of useful options I've got lined up, but this is pretty random; I haven't got a clue which one's going to be picked, and the one I've planned probably isn't it. Of course, the spontaniety of it all is amusing... |

I had an idea once upon a time to do something very much like this MOCIA project of yours, so I've read through them with interest. I now have to ask: is there any option the teeming masses can choose that will actually get the guy out of there (thus forcing you to build a new MOC)? It seems inevitable to me that people would lose interest if no progress is ever made, and this would be a shame.
Oh yes, there's several escape options. I've got this big comic series planned, you see, and that means I've got purpose-built backdrops available. There's one option in the above list that will result in a series of actions that would break him out of the vehicle, for instance, but there's also an option that will guarantee instant death. Oh, and there's an easy-peasy cheating instant escape get out of jail free card. And a slower, if-you-pick-this-you're-setting-yourself-up-for-a-tragic-accident option. I'm working on making it trickier, you see; the death options get harder to spot, and the escapes get harder as well. If they do pick the right option(s), however, I won't need to make a new moc; the vehicle he's in is complete, apart from the left side which has no treads. This means I can simply flip it around, hiding the hole, put it on a preplanned layout and pop the hatch if the right options are selected. You could say it's a sort of public playing with an almost-complete W.I.P. Thanks for commenting on this, too; it's nice to see the mocpages interactive entertainment specialist thinks it's a good idea. |
