An idea for a simple articulated ATV chassis with rudimentary suspension - all wheels on a surface at all times.

About this creation

This is an idea I had with the parts from my TinyTurbos collection. I noticed that one of the small wheel axles fitted perfectly into the hole of a headlight brick - this meant that the wheels could rotate about this axle and I had a rudimentary 4 wheel unsprung suspension mechanism!

A simple articulated vehicle chassis with front, rear and middle platforms for building on. Here you can see it turning right.

The front left wheel rises over the obstacle, with all three other wheels still on the surface.

The rear left wheel follows the front over the obstacle - others maintain surface contact.

The connecting point between the two axles allows the vehicle quite a range of motion...

Ill say that is one good design you got there and it will work perfectly for what i got in made, thanks for saying me can knick it :P jokes. Anyway i also looked at your cockpits and i can definitely say those two together will look awseome.

I've been working on incorporating the wheel-connector-pieces on other things, and discovered that connection as well. This is a nifty application - do build the entire car.
