The Raptor is a swift medium range starfighter in the Blacktron theme.

About this creation

Thank you for checking out my Lego creation! The Raptor is a sleek and swift medium range starfighter in the Blacktron theme. It is a one person spacecraft with twin engines and outboard vectoring thursters. It's weaponry consists of dual laser cannons and 4 guided missles.

This semi profile view establishes the lean, sleek lines of this starfighter.

A head on view, with the pilot more visible through the windshield. The cockpit design was borrowed from another model and is basically born out of necessity due the limited selection of trans yellow windshield pieces.

This side view offers a better look at the outboard wingtip vectoring thrusters made from the black wedge slope with the Blacktron logo on it. Again, a necessity due to the limited supply of pieces with the logo.

Landing gear down. Space is minimal so the landing gear is very slim and simple.

The ship looks as if each segment is branched outward from either side of the cockpit. Great design.

Very nice design. The colors and shape give it a very empiralistic look. It almost has a tie fighter feel.

AHHH Blacktron! A theme that occurred smack dab in the middle of my dark age. I totally missed out on this when it mattered, but I am starting to see the beauty of it. ...it will never be Classic Space.
