HMS Pegchester is a futuristic British Military transporter. It carries between 6-8 hover vehicles, has two hanger decks, with the upper deck having direct loading bays for the Marines to entry into the vehicles. Towards the rear there is the lift and main console. The lift connects the hanger decks with the control deck and mess rooms.
And now for you help. It’s taken about 5 months to get to this stage and as you can see the model takes up my dining table, much to the understandable displeasure of my wife. However I haven’t down any work internally, and personally speaking do not like the way it looks! If enough up to 20 people think I should finish it then I will continue to do so otherwise I will break it down! Thanks for your help

Thanks to everyone for their comments which have been helpful. I have taken on board all of your comments and decided to spend a small ammount of time to complete the exterior of the ship. Whilst deliberating my course of action I spent an evening on the air conditioning plant and it became evident that I most likely would run out of bricks if I attempted to fit the ship out. Thanks again for your help and watch this space. |

Bro. You dont need 20 people to tell you this thing need finishing. All you need to do is continue on the bottom of the ship and do some work at the back. Dont give up mate. It would be incredibly stupid |

If you just rounded the front of the bridge instead of making out farther It would be cool. Otherwise push along! |

I would make the lower section less boxy. Try and put angled plates on the part and make it sort of diamond shaped. After that, it'll look quite alot better, but it's already very good. |

I like what I am seeing so far and don't want you to give up. I like the look of the bridge and I like the look of the lower section, but the connection between the two looks off. That might be the easiest place to make a change without losing all the work you've put into this. The hovertanks in the hold look great too! |

If you don't like it then don't keep building. But I personally think this looks pretty amazing. |

Very original and different from other big ships - in a word, it would be cool to see it finished !

If you don't like the look of it, then change it ;) There's no reason to build something that huge, if you don't like it...you don't build this for us, you know? Personally I like the upper part, I think that makes for a good ship itself, but I don't like the lower part...it's merely a big box and ruins the look. |

Well, regardless of what your wife thinks, I think you should finish this till the very end. This looks huge, it looks very original! It is very worth finishing it. It isn't ugly at all! Finish it and then you can judge the work as you please. But what I would advise is a better quality of the photos. This thing is too massive and too good to be photographed poorly. |

Most impressive! Personally, I would love to see this monster completed. It's a very nice ship, brilliant design, well executed and just plain cool! If this is a futuristic military transporter-do any of the modern-day ones like pretty? Of course not! The grayer and bulkier, the better! I hope to see its completion. It would be a shame to let all that work go to waste.
Good day |
