About this creation
As he enters the crypt, he feels the cold shiver down his spine as clearly as he would a winter's wind.

No others would come with him. They were too afraid. And with good reason, for none who had ventured here had ever returned.

The demon spawn that called this catacomb home had taken everything from him. His wife, his son… his reason for living. He had come to take it back.

This foul creature sustained his everlasting evil with the blood of the innocent. Flowing here in a grotesque perversion of the serine waters from the fountain in the town square.

He had come here with one goal. The monster must be stopped. The madeness must end and the evil vanquished. The sun would rise soon, but here in this dark, dank crypt, it would do him little good. He could only rely on himself and what he had brought with him.

So close he could almost taste revenge and feel the cold steel as it sliced the creature’s flesh and released him from his living death. There he was… so close… within his grasp. A bolt from his crossbow through the heart, and sever the demon's head and it would all be over.

He had thought the evil one to be already in slumber. Easy prey… this was not the case. He would have to fight for his vengence… he wouldn’t have it any other way. He wanted to see the fear in the demon’s eyes when he struck the final blow. He wanted to hear the scream that would come from hell itself. He wanted… death.
It’s strange how men are given what they desire. For death he wanted and death is what greeted him there.

Face to face with death incarnate, he held fast. No backing down for cowardace was not within him. His grip like a vice on his sword as the Vampire rose from his coffin. The time was now.

The demon came forth, his eyes red with rage. How dare this peasent invade his sanctuary? The Vampire would not allow this tresspass to go unanswered. When he was done with this fool, he would exact his own vengence on the town for allowing the human to think he could possibly stand a chance against one so ancient and powerful as he…

Who shall overcome in this epic battle of good versus evil? You decide…
Fourth Wall Commentary: (With bonus behind the scenes features)
HAPPY HALLOWEEN MOCPAGES! It’s that time of year again when the leaves fall and ghosts and goblins run the streets in seach of treats. This is THE favorite holiday around my house and I just wanted to share some of that with you all.
This actual build only took me about 6 hours total. The issue I was having was that my daughter was sick last week and my wife was sick this week so my LEGO time was cut to nearly nothing. I didn’t think I would get this done in time for halloween but luckily, here we are.

Here’s a close up of the blood fountain. The lighting that I used for the story didn’t show this as well as I wanted but hey, that’s what behind the scenes stuff is for! The lighting by the way was done with two small candles. Kelso made it look so easy when he used that trick on his Apocolypsis part 2… notice I said “made it LOOK easy.” Maybe it’s time for Chris to invest in a better camera?

And that’s it for now MOCpages! Have a safe, fun and Happy Halloween!
Till next time true believers…

OK, a guy posted a link to an air craft carrier on one of your MOCs, you commented on it saying it was great, it was, but to bad it is a mega blox set, he just added a few Lego bricks to it. On the stud of the large tile pieces you can see a circle around the stud instead of a straight line- http://mocpages.com/image_zoom.php?mocid=137075&id=/user_images/30037/12485338513

Chris, this is one of you better MOCs that you built. However, there are a few things that bother me, but I'll start with what I liked. The walls of the crypt were one of the best parts of it, but I think it should have been purely tiles and headlight bricks. A mix of grey and bley alternating in a brick-like pattern would have really made this stand out. Also, you could have used mulitple random 1x1 tiles and plates to add some texture. The lighting used gave it some real emotion. However, the clean, nice water is not something I expect to see in a demen's crypt. Instead of tiles, you could have used plates and bricks in a variety of colors, on thier side. I also disliked the blood
fountain, it seemed very sloppy to me, although I don't have a solution for that. Despite all the critisism, this is a solid MOC. I apoligise for any spelling and grammer mistakes, as iPhones are not a good place to write an essay. |

Amazing. It looked like it was built in separate sets, and it's only one instead :) Great rythm in the narration, it doesn't keep from the pics and each part is short enough to keep the page alive. Also you used that "vague" style I like so much, allowing the reader to set the story in any background they can imagine. And it looks like the Wild Ride was fatal for that poor guy with the green head :D |
