About this creation
Some of you may remember the Firefli for taking home first in the "Show Us What You Got" starfighter contest. Well, as I had mentioned before, I've been gradually working on and improving the Firefli since late in the 8th grade. I am currently a senior. Every few months, I end up revisiting the Firefli, and improving it. This has been going on for the last four years, and the Firefli has improved proportionally to my building skills.
This is the latest version, and it's probably somewhere between "Version 15" and "Version 20" I stopped counting a few years ago.

This here is a shot of the front. I would advise that you duck.
Here you have a profile view, which adequately shows the multitude of odd angles going on in this thing.
This rear 3/4 shot does a good job of showing the skew of the engines.
A shot of the back. Also: PURPLE ENGINE FLARE.
A top-down view. Just thought that it looked cool from here.
This is one of my favorite shots, showing the greebs up behind the cab. I'm also glad to have finally used the reigns from the TaunTaun.
The first time I posted the Firefli, there was some controversy as to whether it could actually fit a Minifig in its cab. Well, here's SigGeoff Figgy, comfortably seated at the controls:

Wow, thats awesome. You should've gotten a pic with all the weapons on it though, or did you? if you did, they blended in perfectly. i give it a 10/10. |
