Hey All,

Got a lot more parts now but need more mindstorm beams to make anything big so decided to attempt a Glock 17 RBG (working from Jack Streat's prime example)

Was missing a few of the smaller parts as well meaning I had to slightly modify the mechanism as well as the trigger guard and hand grip, I think it turned out alright in the end though.

You can load 5-7 rubber bands, anything over 7 and you risk breaking something. It's not real accurate either past 3-4 meters, either shooting down or arking which I believe is to do with the way the bands are mounted to the front and their travel path which is around a couple of turns instead of straight. For my 3rd attempt at a lego gun though Im pretty happy with it :D.

Really good gun! The only problem I found, was that the handle looks a bit to long, but other than that, 4.9/5!

Thanks Jasper, I will definitely check yours out ;) (EDIT: Actually looking at it now, I think the hand grip is a bit to long making the barrel / slide look to short but I know its right as that's the one part I was able to copy its exact length from Jack's one) Cheers! Gagz

omg Shadow, is it that hard just to read a discription??? anyway I think you did very well on this gun. The slide/frame needs to be a bit longer I think, but overall it's pretty nice 4/5 wanna review my Glock 17?

i wonder why it only stays accurate for only 3 to 4 metres. the dual Glock 17s i built based on Jack Streat's mechanism usually stay accurate up to 8 to 10 metres or more. anyways, good gun.
