Here is a model of the Alexander ALX300 which is a full sized single decker bus. I have used the colours of the 'Inter Urban' livery that Arriva now uses.

About this creation

This is my own creation of the ALX300 bus which I have built in Arriva's new Inter Urban livery. This model which features opening doors is on the 101 route which goes from Luton to Stevenage. I built this alongside the ALX200 as these are pretty much the same bus, the only difference of course being this is a bigger bus. This model has recently benefited from a new white swoop on the drivers side which adds realism to the livery. This was made after the successful swoop made for my Citaro.

The left door is hinged into the route display and the right door into the roof so you can't see the hinges.

Inside the bus we have green bricks for the seats, yellow poles and dark grey flat tiles throughout to complete the floor which also features a step up at the rear axle where the floor is raised to accomodate the engine.

Lastly, here is an example of a real life ALX300 which I used to base my model on.

Your color scheme on this one is a beaut! I've never seen a bus this long with only one door. Your work is amazing. I like that you do unusual subjects. I try to do out of the ordinary stuff myself, but I am still doing small things. Keep it up. Regards, Eric.
