Hello there fellow Mocers and judges. This is my entry for the Winter MocOlympics Round 1 in catagory Bionicle. my opponents home page is http://www.mocpages.com/home.php/28223. I have made a creature that lives in the stone areas or deserts. it feeds of minerals from the stones which it sucks up through its snout. They are very loving and nurturing creatures who will protect their young at all costs. They have 4 legs, four arms and a long snout used to get the nutrients and minerals out of rocks. In the time of the toa and turaga they were sometimes kept as pets because they woul protect the young from sanything that would try to take away young turaga. But when the great spirit of Mata Nui was laid into his eternal rest, these creatures were all wiped out and were never seen again.
About this creation
Above is the top view of my creature.

The front view showing its snout and many appendages.

Back, side view

The baby. the baby will not grow its 4 other appendages until it has matured enough to feed by itself. This will usually take around 4 years. The baby will feed off some of the minerals and nutrients its mother gets through a hole in its nest like rock.

The baby sitting up in its nest like rock.

Another view of the baby moving around. (im sure that rocks very uncomfortable)

During the night, the creature is totaly inactive. It will roll up into a ball in some ditch and will sleep until dawn. The baby will stay up in its nest like rock until its mother says he can come down.

Side view

A picture of it looking out across the barren desert watching the sun go down.

4th wall commentary: This was a very interesting build for me because i for 1 haven't built any bionicles in ages and 2 i left most of my bionicles at my mums in Australia. i only had 4 bohrocks to work with and a tonne of lego. i came up with the idea of haveing a creature with many appendages and a fierce but friendly (it will be fierce only when it needs to protect its baby) nature. i tried a couple of designs with the bionicle parts that i had but i liked this one the most because i thought it looked kind of cute.

Thank you for viewing my MOC and good luck all of you who are competing in the Winter MocOlympics for average builders.
