Another 100% SNOT build, this one was originally going to be for LEGO's Find R2-D2 contest. I was too lazy to enter, Zanthir almost killed me, you get the picture.
About this creation
Cockpit open. Yes, this dainty cockpit seats this minifigure, but anyone with hair or a hat taller than these standard helmets just won't fit. This was one of my major complaints about this MOC. Another? The SNOT design isn't the sturdiest ever. Each brick in the middle section is flipped sideways with the stud forward- not an easy thing to do. Then on the wings, studs face in towards the center. Once again, a pain to put together. Then, the wings were built around 1 x 1 x 1 with studs on 5 sides... once again, annoying- I only have about 5. Meh. It's still quite swooshable, but if you drop it, you'd be picking up pieces for the next few days with only a bowl of paste to eat.
Showing that the rear tail bends for easier retrieval of your lost astromech. How'd I do it? Hint- each black cylinder is around something.
The smoothly SNOTted underside. The shape seems, to me, a little Buck Rodgers-ish. Dunno why, but I like it.
Finally you post it!
DIE NATHAN YOU PURIST B4$T4RD! Like yours, kidified. So, very nice. You could make it more sturdy, however. Alroighty then, oill get outta yur hair then! Yuck Yuck Yuck... Just kidding. Bye now.
