MOCoff entry, Matt S vs Blake B.
About this creation
They had followed us for nearly three hundred miles. Stealing cattle, running off saddle-stock, and finaly burning our wagon filled with almost all our earthly possessions.
We arrived at the spring weary and downtrodden, hoping they would finaly go away and leave us be.
They were waiting for us.
There were three of them, all rough looking men who were most likely accustomed to violence. They taunted me, telling me how they had sold all our stock and what they would do with my wife and children after they had killed me. I didn’t talk, I drew.
When the shooting stopped and the smoke cleared they were all there, lying on the ground and I had a bullet in my shoulder.
We were fifty miles from the nearest settlement and besides whatever the three men had brought with them, we had nothing but each-other.
That was enough for me
The End
Fourth Wall Commentary
I experimented with lighting(changed bulbs on my lighting lamp), I built in a new theme, I got to use those fun trees again, it's been great. So win or lose, I had lots of fun with this MOCoff Blake. On a side note I relized that my collection of green and brown needs enlargement, so that'll be one of my next endevers. Good luck Blake!

Um...sorry for Commenting Again, My friend AngeryRacoon Invited you to a group, Viggnette Academy. I figured you were gone from MOCpages for a while, but I'm just makeing sure. You would be a teacher, on some specific topic. Tell us if you have time. Sorry for bugging you again. :(
I'm honored to be considered at teacher level but I'm afraid I'm not a very good teacher. So thank's for the invite but no for now. And don't worry Blake, you're not making pest of yourself. |

First off, you both did an amazing job. Period. Matt, I've looked up to you as a superior mech and sci-fi builder ever since I joined MOCpages, and watching you step out of your comfort zone did NOT disappoint. (Confirming yet again your spot on my favorite builders list.) I absolutely love that blood effect, the ingenious tree technique, which I have only seen done well once before, and I also really enjoyed your pond, the woman running, and fallen leaves. In the way of constructive criticism, I think your landscape could have been more varied in height as well as foliage. But, with all that said, I have come to the conclusion that Blake gets my vote with his more traditional approach to the Wild West theme that he executed very, very well. Again, you both did a stunning job and earned my respect as some of the best builders in the wild west theme. Thanks for letting me be a judge! |

Very cool Matt. I like the fact that you used a red arm and hand for the blood FX. Great detail. Also. Do you have flickr? If so. Here's something I want you to see. Don't forget to add me as a contact. http://www.flickr.com/photos/42627424@N04/4029472278/ |

Good luck! Although I don't really think is is quite up to your building standards, is it? Still nice work though. &^)
As you may have noticed this is currently outside my comfort zone. I have to step outside that world of sci-fi and vignettes every now and then ;). |
