This ARC-170 Model leaves no wishes open. Great building-techniques, shape and proportions. The rear-canon is especially well designed.

disappointing to know that this has already been done so well, i was just about to make one myself. A few flaws though, imps put the symbol on the body, not on the wings like republic ones. also, imperial arc-170s still had DUAL cannons on the wings. This comment may sound negative, but its not, great job!

out of ALL the ships in starwars,the ARC-170 is my faveroite...GJ!!!

To all of you who are mistakingly claiming his is a grey version of the official set, look more carefully. For one thing, the official set uses printed slopes - studs on top - for the main body. Robo Man's model uses curved slopes attached sideways. The front of the nose is 4 studs wide, compared to LEGO's 2-stud width, and is filled in, whereas the LEGO set has a big gap. Robo Man incorporated grills into his wings, whereas LEGO put a big hole. LEGO's model has two guns on the end of each wing, while Robo Man has only one. These differences as well as several others reveal that Robo Man's model barely resembles the official set. The LEGO Group obviously pays much less attention to scale, proportion, or detail, than Robo Man or many other MOCers on this site.

this is awome man, ive said it b4 in 1 of my mocs, but LEGO usally uses colorful legos for there ships, this though is very cool beging gray and all, and the detile is good to great job, btw wouldu mind taken a look at my Tie Fighter model? its black and gray.

I have to say, it's really good, looks alot cooler than the Clone Wars 170. My only problem is that the back of the engines looks a bit disproportionate. Other than that, great job, and well done for making the homepage.

Look just because this is good doesn't mean I used the set or changed it around, I don't even own the set. All I did is looked at a picture on Starwars.wikia.com and I started building that ARC-170. No set reference at all, you can even look at my flickr on how I build it. Not even close to the set. I just wanted to make that clear.

i have the Official LEGO set of the arc 170, and at first i though "this guy just copyed that and changed the colours" but you also added alot more detail and made it look even better than the official set. great job

WOW! I like the colour scheme. Goes with the Imperial look. I also like the rear turret. That's way better than the one that comes on the one in the set.

Very nice! The ARC-170 was one of my favourite spacecraft, and making it into an Imperial spacecraft is a really good idea. Also, I love the turret on the back and the huge guns on the wings. :)

ARC-170 engines are usually big, that is what makes them deadly the speed they can go up to and catch up to enemies

Awesome work- much better than the lego's 2010 cw-version and gray colorscheme with blue engines (maybe that color depends on the fuel or something)is strikigly imperial - almost makes me hear the imperial march inside my head....

Nice work! I especially love the Aft turret! Though I think the Engines are bit oversized...

If there's one thing that's more awesome than an army of Snowtroopers, it's Imperialized Republic vehicles. The grey colourscheme and trans-blue goes together excellently, making this a true piece of art.
