The Greeble Mech! Yep, I was out of ideas, so sue me. Let's do it!
About this creation
Good evening ladies and excuses for gentlemen that seem to inhabit these pages. I have had an extremely busy last two weeks this time round. Reports, reports, reports... The words that spin in my mind. Gah! Getting a little off-topic here... What were we talking about?
Category - Mech-I was expecting this sooner or later, seeing as how I've already been to hell and back during these past few weeks
And guest-starring in this MOC are my cubicle sorting boxes, playing as "background".
Opponent - Kly and his Mech
Round - 1-assuming that there will be rounds
Chance of Failure - Past my caring (a bunch full)
Now then, considering that this took about half an hour in total to work out and that I haven't built anything even resembling a mech for about seven years-I think I did OK.
Where to start, where to start... How about the center? This was the main point that I had pictured in my head for a few days. The rest was just improvisation.
The left arm... or right arm, whichever perspective you're looking through. This mech is some sort of repair mech... I think. I assume that this is a fuser of some sort.
The... Other arm. Again, I have no idea what it does, only that it has an antenna.
Another view of the same arm. Boy, I am not feeling very descriptive today.
A view of the back.
A view of the mechanism arm things that are situated at the back of the mech.
Ah, yes. The legs. Or a shot of one, in this case.
A shot of... I don't even know what. Just something I whipped together to be on the side.
And to conclude today's lesson on *insert funny word or phrase here*, we leave you with an overall shot. And now a word from our sponsors. Good day
Had I been given enough time, I would've gladly and willingly created a full-scale mech. Earlier this week, I was thinking to myself, "robot" and "mech" are two different things, aren't they? It seems a lot of people have forgotten that. So, very unlike myself, I went and joined the crowd in their automated mechs.
No, I do not plan on making a full-scale mech either. I do not have the motivation nor patience for such a thing. I hope I can get out of this contest soon... I've been dreaming of returning to good old space again.

I hate to see someone lose on a technicality, but it looks like that's what's going to happen to your opponent (he didn't have a link to your page). The good news is that even though you win, you don't have to keep playing if you don't want to. The Dark Matches are just that, matches. Not a tournement. So hold your head up high that you won this moc-off (your creation WAS actually better. Don't think that you won ONLY becuase of the technicality)! ~ Chris. |

Well, Topsy, let me tell you, I was tempted to give in to your wishes and give you the boot :) However, I decided to judge the creation alone, and yours was definetely better. Sorry, but space will have to wait. Good luck with Chris and Dave. |
