Round 5 in the MOC olympics has me posting early, as I will be away for three days. As much as I hate for my opponent to look into my cards at this stage, here it is! Hope you like it.
About this creation
Category: PhipsonInator! (a mad scientist creation with a funny backstory)
Opponent: The mighty LegoLord

Inside his top secret underground laboratory, Dr. Zumpfgugenhanzel is working on his latest invention. He is assisted by his (t)rusty robot.

"Just ...a couple more....bolts...and I think...Yes!"

"My greatest creation is complete! With these mechanical pants, I shall conquer the world! And, more importantly, leave the real estate completely unharmed. Muhahahaha!"

"I shall name it...hmmm...the transformer...no, that's something else. The...transformator? Nah. Aha! The TRANSFORMINATOR after its mightiest weapon."

"Time to try it on, I'd say"

"Mmmm fits snugly. Does my bum look big in this?"

"A quick weapons test, and I'm off to the city!"

Meanwhile, in the lovely town of brickston, life was getting along splendidly.

People were going about their business in this friendly town.

The mailman checked the mailbox on the main road.

Pedestrians would wait for the green light before crossing the street.

The stalker did a spot of afternoon stalking at the park.

Cool cars would drive past swiftly but gently.

All in all, it was a lovely day in Brickston. Until...

"HELLO PEOPLE OF BRICKSTON. If you would be so kind as to gather around me and my iron pants. I am going to show you something that you've never seen before!"

"Yes! This is your chance to be one of the first people on the planet to witness the power of the mighty transforminator!"

"That's right. Step right up! Gather round, while I aim my ...er... iron rod at your general direction!"

"Now I turn this dial and..."

Dr. Z.: "You all have silly hair!"
The people: "Wow!"

Postman: "Well I never!"

Dr. Z.: "Now I turn the dial in another position, and you all have silly hats! Muhahaha!"

The people: "Hahaha! You look silly"
"No you!"
"Hahahaha!"

"Hey, wait a minute!"

"Yes! Isn't that completely amazing? Now I turn the dial again, and amaze you even more!"

Dr. Z.: "Foodhats! Muhahahahaha!"
The people: "Okay, this really isn't funny anymore. Stop it!"

"Oh, but I was only just beginning! HahahahaHAHAHAHAHA!"

"Aaarrrgh!"
"Peep"
"Meow"
"Grrrr!"

"Oh, bum grapes!"

Construction worker: "Alright, this has been going far enough."

The end.
Well, that's it for now. Hope you like it. I just wanted to make a very, very silly invention. Having never seen an episode of Phineas and Ferb in my life, I found it too risky to try and duplicate it, as I would most likely get some of the details horribly wrong. So I invented an inventor and his invention of my own.
I also felt I wanted to build a 1980's style classic lego town with people and cars to match. So that's what I did.
Oh, and in case you were wondering: again I used up almost all of my bricks, yes.

Great stuff Steef. If I didn't know better (and I do) i'd say you were British from your sense of humour. Yes that is a compliment. The delicate balance of smutty tongue-in cheek and the frankly silly are a delight and you use the word bum in it's correct meaning (bottom, not a homeless person). Great build too. Good luck as you plough forward.
Heh, thanks mate. Funny you should say that. You're not the first one to mention this. I hang around a lot on b3ta.com (sometimes described as a 'purile digital arts community'), which is very British in nature. I know my spelling is also rather British, and most people on there never realised I was Dutch until I started mentioning this fact. |

This MOC has two things that made me disapprove of this MOC:
1.It involves people transforming into things, and I do not really like anything involving shape-shifting due to a horrifying experience I had on the internet.
2. The giant metal pants is actually an image of a rude part of the male anatomy, which not only is indecent, but it remind me AGAIN of that horrifying thing I saw on the internet.
Therefore, although the robot is somewhat well built, I find this MOC distasteful in my terms.
Oh man, don't talk to me about horrible shape-shifting experiences on the internet. I mean, have you seen my user pic? There I was, visiting the website of my local zoo, and the next minute I look like this! PS: those parts are only rude if you want them to be. They're perfectly natural. |

Another worthy winner of a round I think. There's a classic vibe all over it, I think I'm most impressed by the town even though the mech is a fine (and macho) build. And of course, very funny executed in true Steef-style! |

Steef, this has got to be one of the most hilarious MOCs I've seen in months!!! (can you tell I'm a fan of obscure humor?) Just fantastic. We're still discussing LL's situation, but I'm thinking now it may be a moot point. This has my vote regardless! Well done!! |

Steef, this is an AWESOME entry and fit in the theme of the category perfectly! Aside from the little "issue" we're having with your opponent, you've got my vote, DQ or not! Good luck with the other judges! ~ Chris.
Thank you, that was what I was most worried about, as I didn't know the series ;-) Glad you like it, as this category seems to really have been designed to please your weird self. Just..what issue is this? /edit: Oh, I've continued reading. Hmmmm how very odd. If it's true, you'd think LL should know better by now...

compensating for something, are we?
Yes. NO! I meant no. No, sir! Nothing needs compensating here. No. No compensating. Nuh-uh.

AWESOME! But why do you have a snowtrooper in a window?
It would be funnier if you asked how much it was.
Oh, and for all you people that think I placed the cannon incorrectly: I didn't place it incorrectly. That's exactly where it needed to go, and you know it. |

based on sheer hilarity, this deserves to win hands-down, despite the opponent's DQ. I guess with all that shooting, there's no surprise why the spherical-shaped plasma generators in the front aren't blue... Seems you've already won, but I guess it's not too late to say break-a-leg, or bust-a-nut or sumpin' |

As posted on LL's build: LL you have included a creation in this entry which you had built previously, and posted previously as part of a separate contest (speeder). This alone is enough for a DQ; however, this raises suspicion about some of the other elements of this entry. IE the multiple ships, the large drop ship, the sheer amount of separate elements that went into this entry would also seem to unlikely given the amount of time allotted for the build. As such, I have voted to DISQUALIFY your (otherwise great) entry. I am writing this here, rather than in an email, so there is no question as to why you didn’t win this round. It is a great build, but you broke the rules. Lee. |

AHAHAHAHAHA!!!! ... First off, when you said mechanical pants, the first thing that came to mind was the Wallace and Gromit episode "The Wrong Trousers". But after a close and laborious inspection, your mechanical pants actually does NOT have pants! The front region would make Lee Jones proud and let's not even begin describing Phipson's favorite region in the behind. Holy ..., I could only imagine what other things the magic wand can do... OK, I do not have to dig deep on that thought... FTW! ... AHAHAHAHAHA!!!! *faints* *awakens* AHAHAHAHAHA!!!! |

Once again, an amazing entry. The town is great, but you must work like crazy to get these done? Anyway... Good luck progressing to round 6 and beyond. |
