Lion Ballista
Ballista Castle LEGO
About this creation
Another fun seige engine. This ballista fires brick made bolts, or 1x1 cylinders. The bolts only fly about five feet. The cylinders fly over ten feet with a decent shot. An string is used to draw back the chain and fire the weapon.

These things are good fun, particularly when shooting an unsuspecting friend.

On guard. Three soldiers stand at the ready. Yes, these photos aren't the greatest. Of coruse, bad photos don't make this thing any less fun. Shoot friends, family, or pets with this evil contraption!

This is great. I love siege engines. I love all of the angles you put in it, and how the limbs bend like that. This is one of the few on the site that actually fires!!! Good job. Now... Can you make a trebuchet?

I actually found this just after I completed my recent attempt & I have to say I really like the angled "planks" on the main body. This has a great look & the fact that it is functional is a real winner

Very cool...I am a big fan of functional Lego siege engines. This ballista is quite impressive.
