Minifig Scale AT-ST
I've been wanting to do this build for some time now, and it's finally done! I redesigned every part of this at least three times. The head is a bit blocky because I was having trouble with getting angles that weren't too steep. I'll address it again in version 2. I added comparison pics of the ILM model to show the detail I added.
About this creation

The legs rotate outward just like in the movie.

When I redesigned the legs, I also had to redo the feet to keep everything centered.

This shows how the head goes together. I would have added more detail between the rear panel and wall, but you never really see that.

Close up of the cockpit.

A size comparison between mine and the 2007 set #7657-1.

And last but not least, either (1) A detail pic of the legs and body, or (2) What you see after the head gets blown off by Chewy.

Best I've seen, too! Especially next to that crappy official set, which isn't even close. Awesome rig, Dude!

This is probably the best one I've seen. It is a little out of scale with the fig but that's ok. It's hard to make things perfectly to scale and have perfect detail. Awesome job on this build!

This is pretty good AT-ST. Looks like you put quite a bit of work in to it. Good body design. Come see the nearly final version of my AT-ST.

this is great! Legos is horrible in comparison. the only thing i would fix is the legs. they're too skinny.

This is Nice! Its Minifig scale as well! I think the main picture makes the legs looks way to small though, you should consider changing It. But everything else is perfect! Nicely done.

wow that is awesome. so much detail compared to legos failed attempt. I AM NOT TRYING TO INSULT LEGO. i am just saying lego has not been perfect with their sets. well back to this, the one thing i NEVER understood about the at-st and the at-at, HOW U GET IN??? but yours is still cool

Quoting Sergeant Pepper I know I already commented on this, but I was looking at it again, and I have more to say. (typical of me) I really like how you did the legs; they look so skinny, like in the real one, but they support it nicely. What kind of hinges did you use? I had to cheat a bit to get mine to stand.
I feel your pain. I had to redesign the legs three times to support the weight of the head before I found something to keep then from collapsing. I used the Technic Beam 3L with Rotation Pin and Socket, numbers 44224 and 44225. They solved the problem nicely. Hope that helps. LMK if you have any other questions.

Hey, man! I'd like to use your "purchase of the droids" pic for pic of the month, but I need a link on SW Movie MOCs. A'ight? Cool!

I love how you did this design, nice job! It's too bad the cockpit isn't angled like the real one, but the interior looks great! Take a look at mine if you find the time: http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/144718 (and by the way, I think the official AT-ST in the Endor base set turned out pretty well...)

This turned out great, man! I can definately see all the hard work you put into this. I love that the legs can rotate and the comparison pics you used. My only (minor) suggestion would be to thicken up the legs a bit in V2. Other than that, this is awesome!

Quoting Robo Man I can't believe no one have commented on this, this is excellent, I love how you compared it to the real thing.
To be fair, it's only been up for an hour. But thanks for the review and to being the first!
