Quick, agile and sturdy, Asura packs are the dread of the battlefield!
About this creation
Thanks to the production rate of the facilities on board the Galamoth class ships, the first real ArcheoGenis mass production model is here.

The Asura's pilot takes seat in its movable head/cockpit.

Named after the evil spirits in Hindu tradition, this model combines the resiliance and agility of the BioMechs with the low costs of mass production.

The Asura is armed with a ground-to-air rocket platform, twin mounted anti-mech laser cutters and a double continuous anti-infantry beam.
It's supposed to work in formation, so its upper/forward energy shielding is more powerful than the aft.

A great tactical advantage is provided by the double leg joint. Since it looks like the most vulnerable spot (and it is), enemy fire have the tendency to concentrate there, leaving the Asura disregarded as inoperative.

However, that part has the fastest regeneration rate of the whole BioMech, so many of the "fallen" are able to jump (literally) back into the fight after a very short time, or to be used later as reinforcement to destroy the opponents' morale.

Asura squadrons are often captained by a Daimajin or a Deva model (the production version of the Indra, soon to be posted).

Quick tip: these are not the best days to be among the infantry!

NOTE #1: Pics and detailing are not my best, I know. Still recovering from my MOColympics exhaustion.
NOTE #2: The legs' poseability is AWESOME! It's almost a pity I neet its parts so soon :(
Comments are welcome! (except about pics and detailing: for those see NOTE#1 lol!)

Nice one Yuri! The gold looks great, and it's much bigger than it looked in the thumbnail...The legs are brilliant, it looks scary AND it has lasers and rockets, what more could you wish for in a mass production mech? :P |

Nice! I didn't realize how big it was until I saw it next to the minifig.
That's why I put it there... (lol I actually forgot to take the "scale shot" so I had to put the set back up!) |

For me it looks like a kind of Eagle whith short wings. It doesn't mean that I don't like it : it's totally awesome ! I'm just surprised nobody noticed that, it screams "Bird" for me, not in the bad way, rather the Dinosaur way ! I really love the head and legs, and the whole thing is totally unique. The pics are good IMO ! What is cool is that really fits the "mass production" concept, I can imagine thousand of those beasts walking in the battlefield (impressive vision) - Fantastic job !

Yeah, but My Aegis fit one. I just cheated on the cockpit. I'm fine with making the mecha, just not with the cockpit design, and attachments, I can't find a way to fit it to a frame. |

YAY ARCHEOGENIS! I really like the cockpit design, but it's still not my favorite Archeogneis mech. I do like the Legs, more system then bio I think. Can you give me tips on cockpits? my latest mecha was lessened due to cockpit design.
Just work on proportions. From what I see, some of your BioMechs are simply too small to host a pilot. You can use a remote cockpit, like I did for the Alphatron Knight or the gargoyle... |

You're not the only exhausted person around here. I just finished a project that has been consuming 95.95% of my free time. This is a rather unusual build, I must say. The pose is unique. This is a very good build over all. |
