a working HK416, in CQB configuration. the configutaion can be changed with a variety of different attachments.
About this creation
the time has come for me to re-do another of my guns. in this case, you could argue that the old version did not need re-doing, but like any engineer/inventor, i can always find faults with my creations, and anyway, i wanted to make another 416.
i dont like naming my creations 'v2' etc, so i differentiated between the two guns by calling this model the CQB (Close Quarters Battle) version, and gave it, along with other things, a laser pointer, a vertical fore-grip, and a reflex sight -this is basically like the 416CQB on Combat Arms, only with an extra laser pointer which in hindsight is a pointless if you have a reflex, lol
this new, better version features:
-working mech (my open bolt mech - this gun has one of the smoothest actions ever)
-two 12-brick magazines WITH BLACK BRICKS!
-more details than normal: forward assist, casing deflector, dust cover, fire selector
-WORKING 3-point telescopic stock
-4x RIS rails that work (but not like the real thing - just shove the attachment on)
-LOADS of optional accessories
-HUGE amount of power due to the 5 bands on the hammer
this gun works just like my other open bolt mech guns. if you dont know how they work, look at the pics of the mech below, or go and read the stuff on the mech on my other open bolt guns, eg my G36K, as this page is big enough as it is.
i will say this though - this gun is so sturdy in construction that i put 5 bands on the hammer instead of 4, and the difference was HUGE! this is easily one of my most powerful guns!!
P.S. you probably thought that to get all this detail i raided Bricklink - but no. actually, i sacrificed my Desert Eagle to make this masterpiece! that leaves me with only my Glock 17 and my Colt Python!
pics: the gun, right side. stock is retracted, iron sights are in use
same, left side
stock - 1st position
half way between 3rd and 2nd. to stow how the lever moves. the stock is prevented by sliding off the end by a simple stopper mech as well
the reciever - note the detail: forward assist, casing deflector, dust cover (closed) and fire selector
the fore-grip with 4 RIS rails - sides, top and bottom
the two 12-brick magazines WITH BLACK BRICKS!!!
the open bolt brick feed
some different combinations of attachments. i wont list out the attachments used in each pic, but the mods used are: reflex sight, ACOG(ish) sight, iron sights, sight profile raiser, vertical fore-grip and a laser pointer.
gun in 'useless' configuration - no sights at all
aiming through the iron sights
the sight that could either be an ACOG or just a red-dot. i cant figure out which. someone help!
the reflex sight
the T-shaped cocking handle
the whole kit, plus my Glock 17 (note the 'stainless steel' slide), as i thought that a pistol would look good with it and i needed to show you guys the slide anyway
the mech. hammer and bolt forward
bolt and hammer back
bolt forward, hammer locked back, ready for firing
and one last look at the 416 (im not sure if this is a great pic or a rubbish one ;)
I would love you if you would make a pistol like the g18 or something with easy no gear instructions that actually fires lego pieces. i dont care how big of a lego piece it shoots it just needs to fire and because i cant make detailed guns like you do you would be perfect for it since it is a little challenging because of the size. (DON"T USE STRANGE PIECES like those gears because i dont have any :P :) ))
I kinda got bored and i had this made but because i have little pieces i couldnt make another gun so because of this i modified it to be like a scar-l with the bolt but i made a mistake so i threw that idea away and i always wanted a bolt action sniper so i modified it again with a quick look at your bolt action design and put that on the t bar on the HK and blindly make the barrel bigger and i straightened the clip for the scar and now i just need to make the clip smaller.
Well I'm one of those people who really encourage your works! I really think this gun is truly fantastic! This is my email: firstname.lastname@example.org . Can u plz send me the instructions for this gun HK416 CQB (working)? I really appreciate it! Thanx a ton!
Its great! But a reflex sight is a fancy name for the MW2 Red dot sight...Black Ops messed it up even more by making the reflex like a real-life red dot (In real life, red dots are scopes). We do have MW2 type red dots but not used in the military...mainly for hunting and sporting. Please add this gun to my group "Firearms New and Old (Other Weapons Allowed)"
i made this when the instructions came out and it was great but now ive kinda used the mech to build a famas and the mech is so great because it can be used in so many different guns just as me making a famas out of it proves =D
Man this is sweeeeeaaat could I buy one? If you want to sell one to me email@example.com but the work and care you put into these is crazy! I just don't have the parts or the money to make one of these *sigh*
hi ace rifle 100% 5/5 and so on.....amazing work!
btw im going to be hosting a contest for the best model guns (AR-LMG-SMG-SHOTGUN-SNIPERS-PISTOLS-and etc) rules will be up on my group ASAP so if u want to join go to the
real gun remakes group!
plz and thanks

O.O WOW after seeing the mechanism I don't thing I have enough pieces to build the gun. =(
EDIT: You should send a video of this to Heckler & Koch. =P
Dangit you lazy man why don't you make instructions? My "noggin" isn't good enough to make my own mech. Oh well, great mech as always, I would ask you to check out my FN P90 but its not posted yet. My stupid rubberband mech isn't working how I thought it would. Also a little advice, with some prototypes I havent posted, I was able to get some amazing firepower from springs. There cheap and you can find them anyware. I would love to see what you could do with them. Well happy building, Soren out.
I look at the creation as a whole and say "thats pretty good" but then I see that Jack Streat made it and say "I think he could of done a lot better." I think you should have spent more time on the front grip and the stock lever. You could have made the dust flap at least open, the stock should have more than 3 locking points, and you could have made a better rail system. Don't get me wrong, I think this is a good creation but I expect great creations from you. but, it does shoot. I give you a 3/5
P.S. I like how you keep your foward assist tight with a rubber band.
