An outstanding creation, a very complete design with interiour finished. The roof is wonderful - I have made several real roof with old irregular roof terracotta tiles, and the irregularity of your Lego roof recreate this effect. And making the design effects by affordable bricks available to most gives it a top 10+ one 1-10 range.

it looks amazing,the interior is quite detailed,and functional,the ambiance is in accordance with the theme! all s been said about the exterior,except maybe,more props,[fire hydrant,bicycle rack] but,it really does nt take away from this build,since,the period of it is wide,incredible work!

Oh. My. God. This is absolutely STUNNING. I give it 5/5. I know it would have been a lot more expensive, but you could have used actual books. Either way, the roof and Ionic columns, as well as the architecture in general, are absolutely amazing. I love this creation.

It's beautiful, very creative use of those wheels on the pillars, I was wondering how you did the double doors, very creative to put one upside down, great job. Btw, I hadn't noticed yet what a great builder you are, I should have added you much sooner (as a favourite builder)

Morgen bin ich eher nicht dort...werd vermutlich übers Wochenende mal als Besucher vorbeischauen, weiß aber noch nicht wann. Am Montag bin ich aber jedenfalls dort um mein Lego wieder abzuholen ;) Dann sehen wir uns ja vermutlich eh! ^^

This has excellent detail expecially at the fact that you have different colors for the books!

The more I look, the more I can see how much work this build truly is! Wow, you used Mini-fig hands to hold up the wheel hubs as part of the capitols! The amount of detail is great! That is a ton of 1x2 plates (books). The roof is well done too. Really nice work here!

WAHNSINN! Du solltest öfters Häuser bauen, es ist wirklich unglaublich genial gebaut. Diese ganzen Details - großartig. Ich weiß gar nicht was mir am besten gefällt, das Dach, die Inneneinrichtung, der Eingangsbereich. Ich hoffe Du bringst es mit auf die Modellbaumesse.

well, you wouldn't laugh at all would you go to university in Vienna...a copy card for 1000 copies costs about 50 Euro, which is about 73 Dollar ;) Also about the fireplace, yeah, you are right...that's exactly what my girlfriend said, but I really wanted to include a chimney. Oh, and actually I was inspired by 'The day after tomorrow' where they burn the books at the fireplace...so I guess that's fine :D Thanks for your comment :)

very nice job! the roof's texture looks great, and i like all the books. but i would have liked it more if there was a attic full of dusty, old books. and, the fireplace, hum.. i haven't seen one of those in a library before... couldn't it burn the books? oh well.. still a superb MOC for a first try at cafe-corner style. one last thing, i laughed when i saw the girl hand a $100 bill to by a copy card! ha! ~nickeal1
