Batman Tumbler from Batman Begins & Dark Knight

This is my version of The Tumbler. It has working steering, rear suspension and an opening canopy. By flicking a lever under the Tumbler's rear, the sides pop out to reveal 2 stinger missiles.

About this creation

I don't remember seeing a missile feature of the Tumbler in either of the Batman films but I've seen some toy replicas with this feature (including the original lego Tumbler set). I didn't want the missiles on display all the time so I worked out a fairly fussy arrangement of gears and a couple of rack and pinions to enable the sides to pop out simultaneously by the flick of a lever just under the rear of the tumbler.
