This is my first castle and I needed to do allot of looking around before I made it. There are allot of techniques that I would not normally use included in the castle and town themselves.
Our Gate and outer bastion.
I decided to go with tile ramparts on the lower walls and tiered battlements on the towers.
The courtyard gate and a Bruuden Mcferry guard. See the brickforge?
Our inner courtyard. From right to left: Sven Hurunting From the scandanavian region, Sir Bruuden Mcferry, Lady Mcferry (Rohswen)
Another courtyard shot. Like the shingles?
An overall shot. Notice the piper?
Weapon stock and Sven.
From the ramparts with love.

This is just amazing! How did you think of packing so much awesomeness into one small MOC!?!? Excellent job with the embrasures (previously referred to as “arrow slits”); I’ve never seen any built into a LEGO castle that can accommodate crossbows as well. Do you mind if I use that design in future MOCs? I’ll give you full credit for the design and include a link to this page. Also, the tiled shingles look great. But why is there a chair at the center of the roof? The only way I can see right now to improve this would be to fortify the front entrance some more, maybe shift that balcony forward a bit and include some murder holes. Good work on the greenery too, BTW.
Thanks! Those arrow slits are not my design please don't send me credit im not sure who originally came up with them but professor eggplant used em and so did I lol. and I was kinda going for a Morrowind style castle with an open gate.

Absolutely superb for a first Castle...and can hold it's own against many from the Castle Pros here on the pages. Your details are excellent, and the smaller scale is refreshing. Keep up the good work! D&J:)

I'm really liking the guard tower. Eh who am I kidding... I love the entire thing. I really wish I had the archetectural skills needed to build things like this. But I don't, oh well. Great job.
