My humble collection. 140000 bricks and counting.
About this creation
Just a couple of months ago I still called this my working space. But, little by little, LEGO became the main attraction here, and filled up almost entire room. So I decided to start calling it LEGO room. There are still two computers on the other side of the room, but the table is usually filled with LEGO too.
There are a couple of medals right of the shelves hanging on the wall. Those aren't mine, but from my girl Klementina. She won them on Ju-Jitsu championships. I guess she put them here to show me what will happen if I don't leave LEGO finally and come to bed 'cause it's 3 AM already. Hmmm....
Anyway, the part of the picture covered in mosaic (no, it's nothing dirty Chris) is a new creation I'm working on and I don't won't to show it yet.

This computers are more and more used for my LEGO store, and cataloguing new bricks using Brickstore. All those bricks on the pictures are from my collection and are not for sale. I like to keep my stuff tidy, so I've kept count in Brickstore for all of them - I currently own 140 005 LEGO bricks. Brickstore is probably the second most used program on my computer. First one is Opera. And then later comes some business stuff which aren't important.
Here is an overall look at my current collection.

On the top shelf are larger boxes filled with various pieces. Large plates, slopes, plants...

Some baseplates and technic bricks and liftarms.

There are all together 8 large and 7 small of those red cases with drawers. They are filled with plates, tiles, modified plates and bricks, and a whole bunch of other stuff.

Large boxes for animals, containers, train tracks, windows, doors etc.

On the lower part of the cabinets are boxes filled with various bricks. I love those the most probably. I'm still a house builder, and you can't build a house without bricks.

Some of my favourite colors.

All the minifigure pieces, and small pieces like food, small animals, bodyparts and similar are sorted in those small lid boxes with bunch of compartments. I have 12 of those. Here are 3.

And here is every AFOL's nightmare - unsorted bricks. You can see how the photo got a bit blurry. That's because I start shaking every time I just thing about sorting. ;-)

Wow... You are SO organized! I have only ten places to put my legos so far (pieces of interest, technic crap, "plates", bricks, slopes & curves, wheels & wheel bushings, anf 4 little plastic organizers (like you use to separate minifig pieces), and it doesn't help that I don't make much money. You have a place for everything though, and everything in its place (excluding of course, the "to sort" box) |

That is some amazing collection you have there. I've been looking at collections like this as I'm going to dismantle my entire Star Wars Lego collection. I've noticed storage containers are quite expensive, but I really want to to it as building should be much easier. Is it really worth it? |

I use Brickstore program for that - it does half my work instead of me. You can import sets, and even BL orders. And yes, I really know how many I own.
I use Brickset which will automatically calculate the pieces from the sets but not from BL which is unfortunate because a majority of my pieces are centered from there. Brickstore eh?.... |
