Back to the roots. I can still remember the awe (and envy!) I felt when my brother got the 6929 Star Fleet Voyager set. This was a totally new approach on the space sets, with new colours and sleeker lines. I don't know how many times I used the "sunken-down" cockpit technique as a kid, I thought it was brilliant. With this VTOL craft I'd like to pay homage to Classic Space, hope you like it.

Not very "Classic Space" IMHO, but great design and great use of different SNOT techniques. The overall shape of the ship is pretty neat too. Great Job! |

Nice integration of those Bionicle masks. This ship has a boxy vibe which appeals to me. And that canopy mechanism is pure awesomeness.

I remember that ship also even thou I was wearing diapers when it came as a set. It was very nice. Your piece puts that old ship in the shadow. This is very, very nice! I was stuned when I saw the first blurry pics you send me, and now when see it.. - Fantastic! Right colours, just love the shape of the wing, plenty of details.. the list is long! It looks smooth, fast and you have really succeeded to get that retro- feeling! Now I´m proud to be your brother! Like the engines to of course! |

Oh, this is VERY cool, sir! I love the 6929 Star Fleet Voyager. In fact, when it first came out, it was a bit of the holy grail for me. I finally got it for St. Nicolas (a Dutch celebration not unlike Christmas). And I love your new take on this. It has a couple of the classic elements to it, like the colour scheme and the sunken cockpit. But the sleek lines and curves and VTOL engines make this a ship of the new era. |
