The Paladin
The Paladin is my second SHIP (seriously huge investment in parts). It is a warship designed to disable carriers (with its two fixed cannons on the roof), and then escape before fighters can be sent in pursuit.
About this creation
The Paladin is 152 studs long (4 feet) and weighs 20 lbs. It took over two months to build.

I named it the Paladin because it turned out (quite accidentally) to have a sword-like shape when viewed from above.

Wow, Blake, that's a nice job that you did here. If I only could afford a decent SHIP myself, then I would probably build one that would dwarf any other ones that came before my MOC. With that being said, the Paladin reminds me a bit of a mix of Battlestar Galactica and Star Wars types of space craft. If you had lived in Nevada, then I'd definitely love to do a collaborative build with you. You seem to have a good grasp on space craft and how they should be built.

To me, this is just slightly cooler than your first SHIP. But both are very inspiring. Wonder if I'll ever build a SHIP. Creations like this make me want to try. Thanks for sharing. 5/5 of course!

side ways eight out of 5, man. this is the best creation i've seen. excellent SNOT techniques, huge, playable, beautiful design, and seemingly star wars/star trek based (star wars is better!) This is beyond the greatest creation i have ever seen. i'm at a loss for the right words, and my comment is nowhere close to how baffled i am. no one, BUT NO ONE can top this! btw, LOVE the ramp.

The obscure angles really make the ship stand out amongst other large SNOT ships. It must have been difficult to make all the panels fit together. The color scheme is also very well done. I sure hope you keep building!

I like the design you used, though it seems that it limited how much you could put inside it. The crew quarters look a little cramped, however you have achieved everything else well. The engine design is impressive, it looks very fast and well armoured. Have you thought of whether it has shields or not? Either way it looks like it could take a beating if bogged down in battle. The only questionable thing i have is the weapons, is it only armed with two cannons? Because it seems that it should be equiped with at least four. Very nice job none the less! Keep it up!

This is an absolutely beautiful ship. The fact that it only has 17 votes blows me away, this should be on a gold plated statue stand in the middle of times square! the cockpit is also very excellently designed.

First off, the red arrow along the front of the ship is amazing, especially with the sloping up and down. The engines are, IMHO, the best outside feature, good SNOT and greeble techniques going on there! The red and green lights are a cute detail too. I love how nothing is overlooked on the bottom, and greebles are found all along it. Also, the red band going all around is definitely well done. The 180 degree wrap around the control room ceiling is marvelous, and the rest of the interior is great! One question, though: In the overhead pic of the interior, along the sides are small wheels (2 on each, 4 total). Do they play a part in anything, or are they just there for show?
