Thanks Matt the Backward One for the name. The U.S.S.E. is Earth's first real space station (correct me if I'm wrong Matt).

About this creation

The U.S.S.E. is capable of housing up to eighteen of the largest ships in all the fleets at one time. All four stations lead to a central city hub, where crews can rest and restock on vital supplies such as ammo, food, and other amenities. The station doesn't rely on transport ships to bring supplies to it, it uses a massive Mac Cannon on Earths' surface to shoot up its supplies, this method isn't a problem since the station is in perfect geo synchronization with Earth. This also helps other ships to not waste valuable fuel needed to break out of Earth's atmosphere. Lightly defended, it does however rely on the ships currently stationed there for protection, it has no on board hangers except for small shuttle bays for Politicians and dignitaries. This means that any fighter support would need to come from Earth or the ships stationed there. The station itself if protected by a very powerful onboard shield generator, capable of slowing down even the biggest of mac shots.

LOL!!! Uh no to either of them, but I guess that inspiration from both those sources did come from my subconscious because I never thought about either one of those when I was building. In fact I was thinking more of Star Trek.
