The Cosmopolitan was built in 2005, and was my second LEGO skyscraper / creation. It boasts a main lobby, mail room, convenient store, coffee shop, weight room, pool, monorail station, 6 condos, and a penthouse suite.

Um... Taking an initial gander at your MOCs, I realize I'm going to have to get concise with my admiration, or risk RSI in my fingers. This is quite fine, to say the least. Love the combination of visual appeal and comprehensive details.

Very nice! Have you ever been to Downtown Detroit? (Does Detroit have a monorail train?)
Yes I have, and yes it does - My skyscrapers got a lot of their inspiration from the People Mover in Detroit and the Monorails in Las Vegas that take people from building to building without having to go outside.

Very nice! Have you ever been to Downtown Detroit? I forgot where exactly it was, but I took a picture of a skyscraper right through some tracks or something(Does Detroit have a monorail train?). Your picture directly reminded me of it. Cool stuff! |
