AKA the Garage Walker or the BFM (three guesses as to what that stands for). Speaking of standing, this monster mech can stand independantly (for about 15 seconds, but it counts) and can hold a large amount of infantry and/or vehicles. Enjoy!
About this creation
The bay holding a small mech, a speeder bike, and a few troopers.
doors closed for protection
The hind legs, which are very strong, especially the worm geared shoulder joint.
The front legs aren't as sturdy as the back, but they get the job done. for about ten seconds.
The front of the walker, including two forward cannons, a search light, and some headlights. custom green for awesome effect =)
here you can see the two pilots through the front viewport.
The front machine gun turret to protect the walker from irritating stowaways.
Here's what the machine gun looks like when it's firing. or when I hold the camera at a weird angle. this kind of picture happens a lot.
One of the smaller two artillery turrets. still capable of complete decimation.
"Hey, what's up here?"
I stuck one of those cheap, red LED bricks on the cieling to help me see what I was doing when I was putting in extra supports and detailing, and it looked pretty cool where it was.
A cranky commander barking out orders
"With all the stress in a warzone, there's only one way to escape, and that's through hard drugs. My buddy Flower would agree with me, but she tried to get to that invisible platform that's right behind me and fell off. Such a tragedy, man."
Here's the big one, the artillery piece that every soldier dreams about operating. This guy's wife is so happy.
Here's the back view. not much here but the tail lights.
Oh yeah, and the "keep out" sign. &*%#ing hitch hikers.
Here's the little mech that was in the garage.
And here's the speeder bike.
And what Giant mobile WMD would be complete without a Popeye's Chicken stand?
Top deck overview
Another shot of the pilots, showing off their controls.
and the very back of the beast holds the troops and their equipment.
"Popeye's Chicken is the shiznit!"
Thanks for viewing, let me know what you think!

Thats really cool. I love the fact that it is basicly a base that walks! |

I really enjoyed this. It is very boxy, proving it's really armored and I also like the space for troops and vehicles. 50/5 (popeyes makes me want to eat it, throw back up, and eat it again) B). |

Unlike anything I've ever seen before. Interesting and really wacky build, it seems to defy the powers of gravity..How could it stand on those legs??? You must have built this really well. Nice job! |

Still a bit bare, but an amazing concept and great portrait of its movements. It really looks slow, bulk and powerful. And a bit of humour is of course welcome :I) |

good luck, I spent all day Sunday just getting it to stand long enough for photos. if you're gonna build something this big, spare yourself one or more nervous breakdowns and put it on wheels instead. lol |

Not bad and the fact that you tried to tackle a HUGE mech is awesome! It just looks really blocky and clunky. Don't get me wrong, I think your stuff is great, but a smoother, more streamlined v2 would be nice:)
ugh, I would kill myself before making another mech this big. my cat knocked it down this morning, and I spent about an hour putting it back together, and then another couple hours doing some last-minute touches, and then about a half-hour to get it to stand long enough to take a picture of. I'll most likely make a cleaner quadruped mech in the future, but nothing this big. Eric Sophie, I tip my hat to you. |
