My biggest (and best IMO) Classic Space ship so far. This is a tribute to the amazing work of Uspez Morbo, a great builder who has gaves me lot of inspiration. I've tried to be creative in term of part usage, like he is. Hope you'll like this new ship !
About this creation
Please be aware that this is NOT my entry for the MOColympics : I'm in the "Classic Space" category for the Round 3 and I haven't begin to build something yet. I've got a lot of ideas, but infortunately the best ones would be too long to build... Hope I find a good idea that won't take ages to make, because I've got some problems in my life right now and sadly my mind can't focused only on Lego. Anyway, stay tuned guys, thanks for your comments on my previous MOCs and for viewing this one !
YOu used so much non-CS pieces so creatively, that in my eyes it is your trademark ... I like how are people making big CS ships, it make this whole theme much more dignified ... I hope you will continue with this kind if ships.
Some beautiful detail here, the wings are great, and the rear engine is too, whta on earth is that giant fan like piece? Great usage of it.
And this one really has a more classic shape to it, no doubt, my favorite of your recent Neo-Classic range. Great stuff.
I like this even more after seeing the detail and different angle pics! The checkered area was something I didn't notice on flickr, really cool effect! I hope things will get better for you soon Crimso, you make my AFOL life way more interesting.
Wow, this is great. Too bad this couldn't have been part of your entry. You did a real nice job capturing the classic look, but with enough new techniques to keep it interesting. This is great inspiration to anyone who gets the classic space category.
Sorry to hear things aren't going your way right now... If it's any comfort to you, I'd like you to know that your building skills haven't changed, this creation is yet another proof of your grandness. The shape of the ship and especially the wings are magnificient and great use of that hard-to-incorporate Exo-Force exhaust. Keep your head high, cheers!
