About this creation
So one of the biggest complaints of my original VERSION of the warriors of 300 was that I used black instead of bronze armour. So, many months later, here is my latest version in flesh and bronze:

So, the story (300 is a film adaptation of the graphic novel 300 by Frank Miller):
King Leonidas gathered 300 of his best warriors, those that had already sired male sons, to fight the Persian King Xerxes and his army of over a million. Leonidas leads his troops to the narrow cliffs of Thermopylae (the Hot Gates) to protect Sparta from the Persian hordes.
They managed to sting the Persian army and even managed to make Xerxes himself bleed, but they died to the man (except for Dilios who was sent back to Sparta to tell their story). Dilios leads the Spartans back to war with the Persians in the Battle of Plataea a year later.

@Brandon Brisby
The Spartans were in alliance with the Athenians and fighting the Persians. But a traitor gave the Persians a secret route that could slam the Spartan/Athenian armies.so, King Leonidas of Sparta told the Athenians (and the other city-states)and some of his younger, less experianced men to leave, that in all left about 300 Spartans. |

If i may make a correction. On the Battle Of Thermopylae, the spartans weren't alone they had 7,000 other soldiers from other parts of greece and the battle was all about the athenians winning a battle against the persians. 300 is all fake with little real infromation about the battle but your model still isnt fazed, it's awesome!!!!! |

Thats awsome and much improved since the last one. I,m just surprised you didn't make it say 3,000 and have 300. I also like the guy in the back with the clone trooper helmet ha ha.

I am still building the orc army - piecing them together takes some time ;-) I am also working on a SHIP - WIP pics soon, and trying to get ready for Brickcon. So I will try and set up the army just for fun in November or so. |

These look great, even the rocky wall as backdrop. Dylon, The battle of Plataea was a victory for a combined army of Greek city states - Frank Miller just had the Spartans leading them. |

Quoting Lee Jones: "So, many months later, here is my latest version in flesh and bronze"... The jokes just write themselves there don't they? I like the flesh tone better as well but never really had an issue with the black armor. I guess Bronze is more historically accurate but hey... when has lego EVER been accurate? Unless you're counting your "BFC." Oh by the way, you're welcome for me modeling for that for ya! ~ Chris.
