OMG someone finally did a good job on this mech!

As soon as I saw the mech in the movie, I ran to go build it without finishing the movie. I don't have very many lego pieces so I screwed it up (of course). 10/5.

I absolutely loved District 9. It's one of those movies that makes you think. Anywho, this Mecha Suit is just as great. Good job :)

cool ive seen the movie and it got me thinking what was the purpose of the ship any ideas?, but awesome mech its almost exactly the same as in the movie

That is a sweet creation, I like the legs a lot. I saw a bit of this movie on the way home from Grade 7 on my friend Levi's laptop and I have to say, I was not impressed with all the blood and violence. Still an awesome creation you have there!

A good head for Wikus is the Indiana Jones head cos it haas all the stuble he gains while an the run.

This is awesome, havent seen the movie yet but want to. Looks just like the macha from the movie though. Check out my 'Devastator' if you get chance. Excellent work, well done!

SWEET! I havent seen the movie yet, but it looks interesting. This is one amazing moc (like all of yours) and I like the smoothness of it and the arms and legs look awesome!!! to save Brian some trouble, Amal, use good images. You normally can find great pictures, also, I'm sure Brian remembered alot from the movie so...Also, Christian, parts can be found 1(or more) of 4 ways: 1) by sets 2) go to garage sales 3) Go to lego land 4) Buy stuff online (ie brickforge.com or saber scporian's store, etc.) Hope that helped ;D

Another truely amazing moc this looks like a set you could buy. On a seperate note I've noticed taht the Dawn Forge group has been declining and that you have not commented over there for awhile there is a post about this over there with other ppl who have noticed. I don't know if you are done with DF or if you are just busy with jugding the moc olympics but I really hope that the group sticks around and we see more DF mocs from you and others.

WOW! Great job. Nice details. It looks pretty close to the one from the movie.

Words escape me... The sticker usage is excellent, the shape is about as close as it's humanly possible to get in LEGO, and the mech you based it off of is probably the best-done combat walker in live action motion picture history (possibly matched by the APU). The background, with the overturned garbage cans and rusted metal, is a fantastic touch as well. Astounding work, as usual.

Hey Brian, I'm sorry about the spamming I did on your Ducati. I've never really commented on your MOCs before have I? I'm tryin to fi find some time to watch the movie. About the MOC the skeleton foot was a great idea for Wikus's hand.

Good movie, but the second half spiraled into a typical Hollywood CGI extravaganza. As for the moc, I'm getting tired of writing words like "amazing" and "genious" to describe your builds. Instead I'll go with the seldom used WOWOWOWOWOWOWOWOWOWOWOWOWOWOW.

Very cool, I was awaiting when someone would post one. That was probably the best movie that I had seen in a very long time but as I left the theater I couldn't help but think that it wouldn't have been rated R if Wickus hadn't tried to break the record for saying F*&# the most times in a single movie.

Okay, it took me a little while to realize that those were ski pieces. That's how you know it's a great MOC, when pieces are used so creatively that lose their inherent recognizibility.

I was gonna post mine soon, but alas you have beet me to the position of the first D-9 Exosuit. Congratulations however, but the one in the movie is less a gray with yellow and more a dark blue with orange. I like the feet they are the problem I am having. Over all 5/5
