About this creation
Alcatraz, or also referred as "The Rock". The domicile of Al Carpone or George "Machine Gun" Kelly. The special idea for this building came up to my mind, first after a long time of thinking about a worth but also originally entry and after seeing an reportage about Alcatraz.
Never fear! I don't want to bore you with facts about the island, the prison or their prisoners. But if you are interested in it - Click here
A closer view on the prison, the yard and the water tower.
The port and the guard house.
Some buildings.
Thanks for viewing!

Das wäre ja ein guter Beitrag für Architecture gewesen. Schade, daß Du es schon vorher gebaut hast. Ich bin auf jeden Fall schon wieder planlos. Was baust den Du als nächstes? |

Congrats on advancing Kevin. As Steef says below, it's recognisable as Alcatraz, which at microscale is a great acheivement (I think it was pretty brave to do a real landmark!). Thanks for the comment, good luck as you progress through the contest! |

You're proving to be quite a force in this competition, even though you got off scot free first round because I couldn't play, I have no doubt you would have beaten me anyway. I'll be rooting for you! ~T |

It’s all in the details, and on this score, you just edged out your opponent for the win. Congrats on making it to round three! |

Well, you've got my vote, but it wasn't an easy call - two excellent builds. It is up to Brian now. Lee. |

This was a really REALLY tough call for me. Both entries are JUST about even here. In the end, my vote has to go with originality. He got ya on that dam with the curved wall. Good luck with the other judges! ~ Chris. |

Ah! This is a really great build, Kevin. It's a lot cleaner than mine, better detailing and it's actually based on a "real life" place. Good luck with the judges. |
