An APC for moving troops and supplies. Comfortably seats 6. The seats are removeable and can make space for cargo or more personnel. It gets its name from the red stripe that runs down the right side of it, which soldiers said looked like a scar.
About this creation
The Scar APC is lightly armed for treaded armor, consisting of a light dual gatling turret for clearing lightly armored personnel, and a six pack anti-armor rocket launcher for heavier targets. It also comes well equipped with a large scanner/comm suite.
The Interior is very spacious and accomadates six, though as stated before, the seats can be removed to fit more soldiers and more supplies. Scars can also be refitted quickly into mobile sick bays, with ample room to accomadate two patients.
Seen here is an ESC Security Squad in transit. Note the handy rack for storing their weapons and the spaces devoted to storing their packs ( a custom creation of mine ). There is ample space to carry plenty of supplies, aside from water.
The top one, looking inside the broading hatch. The Scar is somewhat squat and soldiers must crouch slightly in order to stand up. First soldier out takes point as the others offload.
Interesting enough, the cockpit looks to be transparent, but it's actually a solid piece of armor that has been coated with a special laminate on both sides that act as cameras and displays simultaneously, giving it the appearance of transparancy. Thus the operator is very well protected.
The Scar is seen here unloading its squad of ESC Security Marines. Other squads will be airdropped and the APC will act as a mobile squad outpost and supply depot.
