Barrett M82A1 Muzzle Brake
About this creation
Versions: [v1], [v2]

  • This muzzle brake was designed for my Barrett M82A1 rifle.
  • The first muzzle brake was too wide and too long, so I shortened it. However, the angles on it are now not as defined.
  • Accurately angled gas escape holes on both versions.
  • Barrel of the muzzle has a hole down the center to allow for a 2x2 diameter projectile of user's choice
  • 2x2 projectile is very close to the diameter of a the .50 BMG slug.

Click here for the video of two bullet designs. The first round design I made when I did not have the large cone and it got stuck in the muzzle brake. The second round goes through the muzzle brake and fell behind the desk.
Note: these represent the slugs only, not the casings!!!

It stands for Pythagoras, the man who discovered the Pythagorean Theorem. Although LEGO bricks are not triangular, the reference to his name is an attempt at appearing sophisticated. :)

Quoting Agent Young About your Hk 416 v10, how many studs wide is it? And do u still have it?
My HK416 was 6-studs wide. I took it apart (except for the stock) to build the Barrett.

Quoting Chas Irish Nice job shrinking it down.
Thanks, it was a very time-consuming process.
Quoting Agent Young i like the old muzzle break...Too bad tho.
Me too, it looks like it would fit on such a big gun better than the smaller one, but that isn't reality :P.
Quoting Agent Young Also, how did you get that real barret in (v0e)?
It's not my Barrett. I got them from here: http://www.pixagogo.com/1706244501
